Overview
About the Audi A5
The A5 has expanded in prominence and importance for Audi, and is now offered in three body styles. Buyers can opt for performance-oriented S5 or RS5 models, and there’s a Sportback model for people in need of a real, usable back seat. The A5 is offered with a range of engine choices with up to 444 horsepower in the red-hot RS5, and all-wheel drive (AWD) comes standard for all trims.
What are the advantages of the Audi A5?
- All of the available engines provide excellent performance.
- The A5’s interior is top-notch in every direction.
- Audi’s tech is easy to use and mostly intuitive.
What is the best Audi A5 model year?
The 2022 and 2023 Audi A5 models benefit from the brand’s best technology and powertrain features. They can stand up to the best options from across the industry, though their price tags can grow quite large with options and upgrades.
What are the disadvantages of the Audi A5?
- None of the available body styles are particularly spacious inside.
- The A5’s price tag balloons with higher trims and options.
- Some variants severely lack cargo space.
Comparison: Is the Audi A5 better than the Audi S5?
The S5 is a performance version of the A5, so any decision to purchase the S should be made with an eye on speed and power, and the associated cost increases associated with stepping up to the higher-performance model.
Is the Audi A5 a reliable car?
The A5 is predicted to have average reliability, though factors like owner maintenance and treatment go a long way toward making vehicles last longer.
Is the Audi A5 worth the cost?
The A5 becomes too expensive, especially in performance and convertible configurations. At the higher price points, which can crest $80,000 in some setups, the car is simply too expensive for what it is.
