Used Audi 100 for Sale near Holland, MI

I wanted so bad to like this car, but alas it was a piece of rubbish. It nickle and dimed me to death in the 2 years I owned it. And parts weren't cheap or easy to come by. The build quality was good, but the parts used weren't always the model of longevity. On the positive side, it handled exceptionally well. The steering had good weight and great road feel. The interior was roomy and comfortable and had a huge trunk. It had a comfortable ride and was quiet except for a bit of road and engine noise. It got 25 mpg. Always. City. Highway. 25 mpg. And it was a safe car...it protected my brother in a 35+ mph head on collision. The airbag and seatbelt tensioners did their job and he walked away with minor injuries.

I owned an Audi 100 2.2E for 10 years, until some moron wrote it off when it was parked up. Best car I have ever had. Never once, in ten years, did it let me down. Now have an A4, but will never forget my "best friend" the 100.

Performance? The fact that this car is still runinng with 273000 miles on it speaks for itself. And the build quality. Appereance? Any fault in it is my own: live on a dirt road, broke the tailgate and replaced it with a white one when the body is black, ect. Gas milage is around 20-22, if I accelerate slowly. If not, 18ish miles. Maintenace; not a lot. Tons of fun to drive and lots of room in the back! My carpooler has a cello and it fits perfectly, along with my violin and all of our stuff for school!

I've spent the last year and a half rebuilding my 100. Now that my car is back together, it is awsome. Handles great at high speeds and has a better ride than my 2004 Audi A4. The 100 is better than the A4 in every way, but in accleration. I love my 100 and will drive it till it dies.

Quiet, comfortable with a good amount of power - the five cylinder 2.3 engine was a dream
