The Alfa Romeo GT has garnered a strong appreciation from owners for its unique style, engaging performance, and comfortable interior across all model years. Many drivers adore the car's eye-catching Italian design and enjoyable driving experience, particularly praising its impressive power and handling. However, some concerns were raised about reliability, with several owners reporting issues with engine power, build quality, and electrical problems. While the fuel economy has generally received positive feedback, there were notes on the practicality regarding cargo space and occasional maintenance challenges.

I wanted a car that looks good and sporty, but needed the space to carry 2 adults and 3 children. The Alfa GT meets that requirement well with the back being nearly as wide as my Golf. I also needed reasonable economy but with good performance and again the GT was up to the task. In short, this is a great car. I've owned VWs and BMs for years now but wanted to try something with more character. I've not been disappointed. It drives great with sharp handling and a responsive diesel engine. Better brakes would be good, but they do the job. I get around 40mpg, which when mostly driving in MK is good, and on a run I can get nearer 50mpg. The interior is very smart with nice 'racing' touches to give it the sports factor, Bose multi speaker system for the sounds and gorgeous leather seats. I love my car! It is in fact the first car where I thought I could possibly name it. I haven't mind, but I think I understand why someone would :P
Makes the driver feel special, loads of low range torque, quiet, reserved and great sound system. Good to drive, heavy clutch, 6 speed manual, 2 door, Good MPG, sticks to a dry road, gets a bit lively in the wet. Lovely Leather bucket seats.
It's an Alfa Romeo. The only car I want more is a Maserati Granturismo * Performance – It's a diesel, but plenty of torque and feels fast. Would prefer a 3.2 V6 for the beautiful sound it makes but I save at the pump. * Build Quality – Nothing major...just the expected squeaks/rattles. 100,000 miles and going strong! Never uses a drop of oil. * Appearance – Bertone masterpiece and voted most beautiful coupe in the world 2004 * Cost of Ownership – 42 mpg...services are not expensive and little else to pay for. * Fun Factor –you bet.
pleasure to drive , sport yet classic
Nice car, but the engine´s too weak. Should be the 3,2 v6
