What Acura RDX do most buyers choose?

The Acura RDX years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

These higher-volume model years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right color, mileage, and equipment mix. They also sit close enough to the newest generation to deliver modern features while often pricing below the latest model year.

What is the Acura RDX's resale value?

Most Acura RDX model years are showing lower prices than they were a year ago, which is good news if you're shopping used. The newer models have seen some of the sharpest drops, while older examples have generally moved down more gradually. That creates a broad spread of value across the lineup, with plenty of room to shop by budget.

The 2014, 2017, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Acura RDX now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −8.29% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −8.44%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 33.1% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 32.9%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $37,173. The Acura RDX offers a roomy cabin, strong everyday practicality, and a comfortable, upscale feel that make it easy to live with.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Under the RDX’s hood, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine supplies a robust 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, and the RDX’s official EPA fuel economy rating is 23 mpg in combined driving, but on our mountainous Southern California driving loop, the Acura averaged 19.3 mpg when driven primarily in Normal mode.
• Tech: Fortunately, the infotainment system offers wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in, so you can use voice commands to avoid interacting with the TTI as much as possible.
• Safety: AcuraWatch is the name of the standard safety features package, and higher trim levels also offer low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.
• Starting price: Prices range from $44,700 to $52,450, not including the $1,350 destination charge.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
