(9 reviews)It was the Sportabout model, which it a hatchback station wagon. I remember that hatch hinge actually broke off. The window wouldn't roll all the way up (some teeth were stripped), so you had to grab the window with two hands and pull it up manually when you got within a couple inches of the top. Exhaust fumes came into the car. My friend got a sore throat from breathing in the fumes on a drive to Lexington.
I like the way this car draws attention. It's literally the only one this year that I know of in the state. '71 was the only year that the SC360 package was available for the Hornet, and that's what I've tried to emulate with this car. I get a lot of great comments.
den køre bare der ud af som om det var en ny bil og nu skal den til maler og bli læker. skal til syn i morgen. der går et bag dæk i ny og næ men det skal der jo også til..
fun car to drive, not very fast but did get a little extra horses out of it when i drove it in high school.loved the room ,had plenty for all the audio equip. i had pretty good gas milage. easy to work on.loved that it was all metal all around like a tank.
Come on, its a work in progress! Part of the car is in primer. The engine still runs good and only has 63,000 miles on it. Somebody had this thing undercoated at one point and its still solid due to that.
