New & Used 2026 Nissan Kicks for Sale nearPortland, OR

Is the 2026 Nissan Kicks a good car?

The 2026 Nissan Kicks is a good fit if you want a small SUV that leans hard into value, style, and everyday usability. It builds on the model’s second generation with a more distinctive design, larger proportions, and a more sophisticated feel, while also adding all-wheel drive for extra traction.

It is also aimed at shoppers who care more about affordability than flash. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 141 horsepower, and the Kicks prioritizes efficiency and practicality over sporty performance. Inside, you get a roomier second row, more comfortable seating, and useful tech such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and available larger touchscreens.

The market signal is solid but selective: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Nissan Kicks reliable?

The 2026 Nissan Kicks is presented as a practical, well-equipped small SUV with a strong safety feature set and a straightforward mechanical layout. It also keeps its focus on everyday usability, which is part of its appeal for used buyers.

That said, the CVT can still make the engine sound unrefined, so you should expect a powertrain that is more efficient and easygoing than engaging. For long-term ownership, the main risk is that you are buying a value-first SUV, so condition and maintenance history matter more than chasing performance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Nissan Kicks?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle has a clean title and consistent service records. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the tires, brakes, suspension, and cabin electronics, since those are the areas where everyday wear shows up first. Focus on overall condition and how the CVT feels on a test drive, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for the long haul.

Should I buy a 2026 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It delivers a strong value-focused redesign with an especially appealing entry price.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the better pick if you want the newer, more refined version with all-wheel drive and strong used-market cleanliness. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it brings the redesigned Kicks formula with a strong value proposition.
