New & Used 2026 Nissan Altima for Sale nearGresham, OR

Is the 2026 Nissan Altima a good car?

The 2026 Nissan Altima is a favorable choice if you want quiet, practical transportation rather than a sedan built around driving excitement. It uses a continuously variable transmission, which dulls the driving experience, but it balances that with a sleek, sporty-looking shape, plenty of equipment, available all-wheel drive, and a strong safety story with Safety Shield 360 on every trim and ProPILOT Assist available on the base SV and standard on the SR.

For shoppers who value comfort, efficiency, and a straightforward feature set, that combination makes the Altima easy to understand and easy to live with. Its market position is also helped by a lower starting price than many rivals and good fuel economy.

40.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a solid amount of room to shop for value.

Is the 2026 Nissan Altima reliable?

The 2026 Nissan Altima is presented as a practical, value-oriented midsize sedan with a strong safety story and a focus on everyday usability. It emphasizes comfort, efficiency, and broad equipment rather than complexity or performance, which can be appealing if you want a simple commuter car.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that resale values remain a weakness, so you should be especially careful about price and condition when you shop.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Nissan Altima?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still confirm the car’s history, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records check. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and whether the car has been maintained consistently. Since the Altima is meant to be a practical daily driver, you should pay close attention to how well the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain present in real-world use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Nissan Altima?

• Deal availability: 40.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,112 listings available.

Should I buy a 2026 Nissan Altima or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 40.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds a value-focused special-edition package and has competitive tech in some trims.

The bottom line: The 2026 Altima is the better primary pick if you want the newer model-year setup, a favorable market, and a straightforward used-car shopping experience. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2025 can make sense as a secondary path because it may deliver similar everyday usefulness at a lower entry point.
