New & Used 2026 Mazda CX-90 for Sale nearOkeechobee, FL

Is the 2026 Mazda CX-90 a good car?

Yes — you rate it 5/5, and CarGurus experts rate it 6.00/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The 2026 Mazda CX-90 is a three-row midsize crossover SUV aimed at you if you want family-friendly space with a premium look and feel, plus strong handling. It also earns solid safety ratings, which strengthens its appeal as a practical family SUV.

The main trade-offs are an unrefined powertrain and a cramped third row. The technology can also feel unintuitive, so if you value easy-to-use controls above all else, you may want to compare it carefully against alternatives.

Good and great deals account for 35.2% of listings, which suggests there’s still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Mazda CX-90 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CX-90 is presented as a well-rounded family SUV with solid safety ratings and a premium feel, and its standard gasoline powertrain is described as fairly fuel efficient. The expert evaluation also notes that the turbocharged six-cylinder engine is surprisingly fuel efficient unless you regularly lean on the power.

For long-term ownership, the biggest used-buyer risk is that the powertrain and technology can feel less polished than the rest of the vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mazda CX-90?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with lots of family-duty use. Focus on the condition of the third row, the infotainment system, and how smoothly the powertrain and transmission behave in everyday driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Select trim gets the smaller 10.25-inch display, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the standard driver-assist suite, while higher trims add a 12.3-inch screen, wireless smartphone integration, and more convenience features. Premium Sport and above also add more advanced safety and driver-assistance equipment, so the base trim is the one with the biggest feature gaps.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.3 Turbo uses a turbocharged inline-six with 280 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque on regular gas, while the 3.3 Turbo S adds more power and the plug-in hybrid brings a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor and 26 miles of electric-only range. The powertrains are described as not especially smooth, and the i-Stop system can feel abrupt.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability. All but the base Select trim add front and rear parking sensors, while Premium Sport and higher trims add active blind-spot monitors, head-on traffic avoidance steering assist, Cruising & Traffic Support, and post-collision braking.
• Infotainment: The base Select trim gets a 10.25-inch infotainment display, Amazon Alexa compatibility, text-messaging support, and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other trims feature a 12.3-inch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA rating for the 3.3 Turbo and Turbo S in combined city and highway driving is 25 mpg, and the plug-in hybrid has an electric-only driving range of 26 miles.

Which 2026 Mazda CX-90 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mazda CX-90 is offered in 9 trim levels: Select, Preferred, Premium Sport, Premium Plus, Select, Preferred, Premium Sport, Premium Plus, Premium Sport, Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the entry point and the most affordable way into the CX-90, but it also has the most obvious equipment gaps, including the smaller 10.25-inch display and wired smartphone integration. It makes sense if you want the lowest price and can live without the nicer tech and convenience upgrades.
• Preferred: This trim adds a more complete everyday experience without jumping all the way to the pricier upper trims, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers. It’s the one to target if you want a balanced mix of features and price.
• Premium Sport: This is where the CX-90 starts to feel more fully equipped, with the larger screen, wireless smartphone integration, and added safety and driver-assistance features. It suits you if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the top.
• Premium Plus: This is the most feature-rich choice, adding the surround-view camera system, front cross-traffic alert, automatic intersection braking, and automatic rear braking with pedestrian detection. Buy this one if you want the most advanced safety and convenience equipment.

Mazda’s safety package expands meaningfully as you move up the lineup, with Premium Sport and higher trims getting the more advanced driver-assistance features.

Is the 2026 Mazda CX-90 safe?

The 2026 Mazda CX-90 earns the highest Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and it earns five-star ratings from NHTSA overall, with four-star ratings for driver and front passenger protection in a frontal-impact collision.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard driver-assistance suite includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability. All but the base Select trim add front and rear parking sensors.

Premium Sport and higher trims add active blind-spot monitors, lane-keep assist, head-on traffic avoidance steering assist, Cruising & Traffic Support, and post-collision braking. Premium Plus adds front cross-traffic alert, automatic intersection braking, automatic rear braking with pedestrian detection, and a surround-view camera system with see-through and trailer-hitch views.

The main caveat is that the steering-assist features are not especially sophisticated, so you should not expect them to handle every road situation with the same confidence as the best systems in the class.

Should I buy a 2026 Mazda CX-90 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2026 update is minor, with wheel, color, and trim changes that unify the lineup.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It offers distinctive powertrain choices and a stylish, premium presentation.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version with the current lineup tweaks and strong market availability, the 2026 is the cleaner choice. If you’re shopping mainly on price, the 2025 can still make sense because it delivers the same core appeal with a distinctive powertrain lineup and upscale character.
