New & Used 2026 MINI Countryman for Sale nearSpokane, WA

Is the 2026 MINI Countryman a good car?

The 2026 MINI Countryman stands out because it blends MINI’s familiar retro personality with the practicality of a compact SUV. It gives you more rear passenger space and cargo capacity than MINI’s smaller vehicles, while still keeping the sporty character and personalization options that define the nameplate.

For 2026, the appeal is rooted in style, technology, and variety. You get multiple powertrain choices, including a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 241 horsepower, plus generous standard equipment such as 18-inch alloy wheels, a power liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel and front seats, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The tradeoff is that the added size makes it less engaging to drive, and the touchscreen-heavy interior can make basic functions more complicated than they should be. Even so, it remains a distinctive choice if you want something more characterful than a typical small SUV. 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2026 MINI Countryman reliable?

For 2026, the Countryman’s appeal is rooted in its mix of style, technology, and variety, with multiple powertrain choices and generous standard equipment. At the same time, the latest Countryman’s added size has made it less engaging to drive, and its touchscreen-heavy interior can make everyday use more complicated than it should be.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about living with the cabin layout and overall complexity than expecting a simple, low-drama experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 MINI Countryman?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car’s service records line up with its mileage and age. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the touchscreen functions, interior controls, and any features you plan to use often, since the cabin’s complexity can affect day-to-day satisfaction. Focus on overall condition and equipment operation, not just appearance, because the Countryman’s appeal depends heavily on how well its technology and features work.
