Is the 2026 Lexus RX Hybrid a good car?

The 2026 Lexus RX Hybrid earns an expert rating of 7.5/10. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The powertrain also uses a conventional automatic transmission, which helps the power delivery feel more natural than many hybrid setups.

Lexus also includes a three-year Drive Connect subscription with Google points of interest and real-time traffic information, which adds some ownership convenience. • Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, high-beam assist, traffic-sign recognition, and emergency steering assist. Front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitors, and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and voice control through Lexus Intelligent Assist.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA rates it at 27 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined, but real-world results can be much lower.
