New & Used 2026 Kia Seltos for Sale nearSpokane, WA

Is the 2026 Kia Seltos a good car?

The 2026 Kia Seltos is a strong choice if you want a subcompact crossover that feels larger and more substantial than many rivals. It was designed to bridge the gap between Kia’s Soul and Sportage, and it delivers a rugged look, a surprisingly premium interior for the price, generous passenger and cargo space, and refined driving dynamics.

For 2026, it carries forward the updates that added sharper styling, a panoramic display, Kia Connect, a USB-C port, and a retuned turbocharged engine with a conventional eight-speed automatic. That combination gives you a practical, well-equipped small SUV with a more upscale feel than its footprint suggests.

With 38.0% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a moderate amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Kia Seltos reliable?

The 2026 Kia Seltos is presented as a practical, refined small crossover with intuitive controls and a nicely sorted chassis. Its appeal comes from a mix of value, space, and equipment, which makes it a sensible everyday choice if you want a compact SUV that feels more substantial than its size suggests.

It is not perfect, though: the cabin can be noisy, and the base engine is described as underpowered. Even so, the overall package points to a used vehicle that should make sense for shoppers who prioritize usability and comfort over outright performance.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is likely to come from buying a poorly maintained example rather than from the model’s basic concept.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Kia Seltos?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you’re considering matches its advertised condition. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-mileage example or one with incomplete service records.

Focus on cabin condition, tire wear, brake feel, and any signs that the car has seen hard use, since those details can tell you more than the listing photos.

Should I buy a 2026 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2027 if:

• The redesign adds bolder styling, a roomier cabin, and more advanced technology.

The bottom line: If you want the safer value play, the 2026 is the better path because it combines strong availability, a high share of clean listings, and the familiar updated Seltos formula. If you care more about the newest design and tech, the 2027 is the better secondary path, especially if you’re willing to pay for the redesign.

How does the 2026 Kia Seltos compare to the 2026 Hyundai Kona?

The Seltos gives you the lower starting price and a slightly better accident-free share, while the Kona offers more listings and a somewhat higher share of good and great deals. If you want the cheaper entry point, the Seltos is the easier buy; if you want more inventory to choose from, the Kona has the edge.
