New & Used 2026 Kia EV9 for Sale nearLos Angeles, CA

Is the 2026 Kia EV9 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Kia EV9 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Technology.

It comes across as a three-row electric SUV that blends practical family space with a modern, innovative feel, and it is described as roomy, comfortable, safe, and well-equipped. The main trade-offs are a high sticker price, certain Highway Driving Assist behaviors, and a steering wheel that blocks the climate system display.

For shoppers who want an advanced electric family SUV with fast charging and strong tech, the EV9 fits that use case well. Good and great deals make up 36.2% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Kia EV9 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The EV9 is presented as a well-built, practical electric SUV with strong performance and a comfortable ride, and its electric powertrain is described as highly responsive in city driving.

The EV9 also benefits from quick charging and a straightforward ownership experience when you can charge at home, where overnight charging is especially convenient. If you buy used, your main long-term risk is making sure the battery and charging history are healthy enough to preserve the range and fast-charging performance you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Kia EV9?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a used EV where charging habits and software behavior matter. Focus on overall condition, battery health, and whether the charging equipment and driver-assistance features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Light, Wind, Land, and GT-Line are the trims explicitly named here. The base setup is the single-motor rear-wheel-drive configuration, while higher trims add dual-motor all-wheel drive and more upscale equipment, with the GT-Line bringing the most premium touches.
• Powertrain: The EV9 is available with single-motor rear-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive. The dual-motor setup delivers 379 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, and the EV9 is described as quick off the line and strong in everyday driving.
• Safety package: Highway Driving Assist is standard, pairing adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist and lane-change assist. Forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking add intersection braking assistance, front cross-traffic braking assistance, and oncoming collision mitigation, while blind-spot monitors include steering assistance. Higher trims add surround-view camera capability, blind-spot cameras, and low-speed braking.
• Infotainment: The EV9 uses triple screens, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless smartphone charging is standard, and the system also supports Kia Connect services and natural-language voice recognition.
• Range & charging: The EV9 offers up to 305 miles of range, and the battery pack is 99.8 kWh on the long-range setup. It can DC fast-charge at up to 350 kilowatts, and Kia says a 10% to 80% recharge can take 24 minutes.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, ask how the vehicle was typically charged, and confirm whether it spent most of its life on home charging or frequent DC fast charging. Also verify how much of the battery warranty remains so you know what protection you still have as a used buyer.

Which 2026 Kia EV9 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Kia EV9 is offered in 4 trim levels: Light, Wind, Land, and GT-Line.

Here's the short version:

• Light: This is the trim to consider if you want the EV9’s core three-row EV experience with the single-motor rear-wheel-drive setup. It is the entry point to the lineup, and it is the only trim tied to the standard-range battery option.
• Wind: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it moves you into the long-range, dual-motor side of the lineup while keeping the EV9’s main strengths intact. If you want the strongest balance of range, capability, and equipment without chasing the top trim, this is the one to start with.
• Land: Choose this if you want a more upscale EV9 experience and are willing to pay for additional equipment beyond the core family-SUV formula. It sits above the Wind and below the GT-Line, so it makes sense if you want more comfort and features without going all the way to the top.
• GT-Line: This is the trim for you if you want the most premium EV9 experience, including the most upscale interior touches and the most feature-rich presentation. It is the right pick if you value the EV9’s design, tech, and luxury feel above all else.

Kia’s safety package is strong across the lineup, with Highway Driving Assist standard and additional camera-based and parking-assist features available higher up the trim ladder.
