New & Used 2026 Hyundai Venue for Sale nearSaint George, UT

Is the 2026 Hyundai Venue a good car?

The 2026 Hyundai Venue earns an expert rating of 5.17/10. The model scores 6/10 across Form and function and Cost effectiveness.

It fits best if you want a small, easy-to-park crossover with good space for its size and strong fuel efficiency. The trade-off is that it sacrifices refinement for a price point that isn’t as low as a comparable subcompact car, and the test-drive notes also call out that it is underpowered, has lots of plastic inside, and produces excessive interior noise.

Good and great deals percentage: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Venue reliable?

The 2026 Hyundai Venue is positioned as a simple, budget-focused crossover, and the test-drive notes emphasize that it keeps its mechanical formula straightforward with a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, a CVT, and front-wheel drive only. That kind of setup can be appealing if you want fewer complications in a low-cost daily driver.

The performance notes also point to a featherweight curb weight and easy city driving manners, which helps the Venue feel manageable in everyday use. On the cost side, the lineup stays under $25,000, and the higher trims add meaningful convenience features without pushing the price into a different class.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Venue’s budget-first design leaves little margin for refinement, so you should expect a basic ownership experience rather than a premium one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Hyundai Venue?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple examples at similar prices. Focus on overall condition, because the Venue’s value proposition depends heavily on whether the cabin, controls, and mechanicals have been kept in good shape.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE is very basic, while the SEL w/2-Tone Roof and SEL add more-premium features that noticeably raise the quality level. The base trim’s feature gaps are the main reason to shop upward if your budget allows.
• Powertrain: The Venue uses a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 121 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive only. It is not quick, but it is easy to manage around town.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a driver-attention monitor, and a rear-occupant warning. Blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are included on all but the base SE, and adaptive cruise control is not available.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It does not offer navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, or SiriusXM satellite radio.
• Fuel efficiency: The Venue is EPA-rated at 29 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 31 mpg combined.

Which 2026 Hyundai Venue trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Venue is offered in 3 trim levels: SE, SEL w/2-Tone Roof, and SEL.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but it is very basic. You get cloth upholstery, a manually adjustable driver’s seat, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, the 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 15-inch alloy wheels. It makes sense only if your priority is the lowest possible price.
• SEL w/2-Tone Roof: This is the best-value trim. It adds cloth/synthetic-leather upholstery, heated outside mirrors, heated front seats, wireless phone charging, two second-row USB-C ports, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, automatic temperature control, Snow mode, push-button start, and 17-inch wheels.
• SEL: This trim adds a sunroof and keeps the more upscale feel of the SEL lineup, but it reverts to cloth upholstery. If you want the sunroof, this is the one to target.

The safety package is strong for the class, but adaptive cruise control is not available, and blind-spot monitors plus rear cross-traffic alert are not included on the base SE.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Hyundai Venue?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Inventory: There are 1,081 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Venue safe?

The 2026 Hyundai Venue earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips it with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a driver-attention monitor, and a rear-occupant warning. Blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on all but the base SE, while adaptive cruise control is not available.

The safety notes also flag a caveat: the driver attention monitor can be overly sensitive, and the IIHS results were incomplete at the time of writing. The Venue received a top “Good” score in the small front overlap test, while the updated moderate front overlap test and side test were not yet available. Headlight ratings also varied by trim, landing at “Acceptable” or “Marginal.”

Should I buy a 2026 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The 2026 Venue’s test-drive notes emphasize that it is small and easy to park, fuel efficient, and offers good space for its size.

The bottom line: The 2026 Venue makes sense if you want a budget-friendly crossover shape, strong fuel economy, and easy city manners. If you’re price-sensitive, you should still compare it with larger compact cars that offer more power, more refinement, and more amenities for only a little more money.
