New & Used 2026 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearCresskill, NJ

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a redesigned three-row SUV aimed at families who want comfort, space, and a more upscale feel than a minivan. The Palisade’s strengths are clear in the data: multiple powertrain options, a great ride quality, and a spacious cabin. Those traits make it a strong fit if you want everyday usability with a more polished presentation and an all-weather-capable, utility-focused character.

The main trade-offs are that the XRT trim gives up some luxury features, and fuel economy trails top rivals. Even so, the Palisade’s combination of comfort, space, and versatility makes it a compelling choice in the class. Good and great deals account for 39.9% of listings, which gives you a decent amount of market opportunity.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Palisade is presented as a meaningful improvement over the outgoing version, and the expert evaluation emphasizes a refined, comfortable driving experience with a quiet ride and strong day-to-day usability. The standard V6 is described as quiet and refined, and the transmission shifts with authority in normal driving. Hyundai also backs the Palisade with a five-year/60,000-mile new-vehicle warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, which adds confidence for long-term ownership.

The ownership risk for used buyers is mostly about choosing a well-kept example, since the model’s complexity and feature spread make condition and maintenance history worth checking carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at higher-trim or AWD examples. Focus on overall condition, signs of heavy family use, and whether the equipment on the specific vehicle matches the trim you expect. If you want towing or rough-road use, verify the hardware and options carefully.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE has a much smaller 4.2-inch digital display, while all other models get a 12.3-inch cluster. The XRT trim is also called out as losing luxury features, so check whether the equipment level still fits your expectations.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 3.5-liter V6 with 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is optional.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, forward attention warning, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. SEL Premium adds side parking sensors, while Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist. Highway Driving Assist I is standard on all but Calligraphy, which gets Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch center touchscreen is standard, along with onboard navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SEL Premium, XRT Pro, Limited, and Calligraphy models get a Surround View Monitor camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: Front-wheel-drive models are rated at 19 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined. All-wheel-drive models drop by 1 mpg across the board.

Which 2026 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, SEL Premium, XRT Pro, Limited, Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but it comes with the smaller 4.2-inch digital cluster instead of the 12.3-inch display found on the rest of the lineup. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live with fewer visual and convenience upgrades.
• SEL: This is the value-oriented step up if you want the core Palisade experience without jumping too far in price. It keeps the standard safety and tech foundation while moving you away from the most stripped-down setup.
• SEL Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the 12.3-inch digital cluster and the Surround View Monitor, plus side parking sensors. It’s the sweet spot if you want a more complete feature set without going all the way to the luxury trims.
• XRT Pro: This is the rugged choice, with all-terrain tires, 8.4 inches of ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, recovery hooks, and off-road display features. It’s the trim to consider if you want the most utility-focused version.
• Limited: This trim adds the factory-installed tow hitch and is one of the models that can take advantage of the Palisade’s 5,000-pound towing capacity. It also gets the Bose audio system and the Surround View Monitor.
• Calligraphy: This is the top luxury trim, with the 12-inch head-up display, integrated front and rear dashcams, evasive steering assist, and Highway Driving Assist II. It’s the one to buy if you want the most upscale and fully equipped Palisade.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to find value if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,086 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 94.0% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade hadn’t received safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety at press time.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The Palisade offers a comprehensive suite of driver-assist features, and many of them are standard. You get blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, forward attention warning, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. SEL Premium adds side parking sensors, while Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist. Highway Driving Assist I is standard on all but Calligraphy, which gets Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance.

One caveat from testing is that the cyclist-detection performance was inconsistent in at least one real-world scenario, so you should still treat the driver-assist suite as a backup rather than a substitute for attention.

Should I buy a 2026 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Hyundai redesigned the Palisade for 2026, making it a more polished and more capable family SUV.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The outgoing model still offers strong space, practicality, and broad family appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest design, the stronger feature set, and the most refined version of the Palisade, the 2026 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money and you find a well-priced 2025, that older model still makes sense for budget-focused shoppers who want the same basic three-row usefulness.
