New & Used 2026 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearColumbia, SC

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from users and 8.83/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is presented as a redesigned three-row SUV that puts family-friendly utility ahead of flash, while still delivering a more stylish look than a minivan. It stands out for its spacious cabin, comfortable ride, and multiple powertrain options, which make it a strong fit if you want everyday usability with a more upscale feel.

The main trade-offs are that the XRT trim gives up some luxury features and fuel economy trails top rivals. Even so, the Palisade’s comfort, space, and versatility make it a compelling choice for buyers who want a roomy three-row SUV that can handle family duty and more varied use.

43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a solid market to shop.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Palisade is described as a refined, well-sorted SUV with a quiet ride, strong isolation from road imperfections, and an automatic transmission that shifts with authority in normal driving. Its standard V6 is also called quiet and refined, which supports the sense that the vehicle is built for smooth, low-stress ownership.

On the cost side, Hyundai’s five-year/60,000-mile new-car warranty and 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty add peace of mind for used buyers who want extra coverage history behind the vehicle. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about basic durability and more about choosing a well-kept example, since higher-mileage family SUVs can vary a lot in wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and inspect the vehicle carefully, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim or higher-mileage example. Focus on interior condition, tire wear, brake feel, and signs of heavy family use, since this is the kind of SUV that often sees frequent passenger duty and road-trip miles.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE has a much smaller 4.2-inch digital display, while all other models get a 12.3-inch cluster; the XRT trim also gives up luxury features.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 3.5-liter V6 with 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, forward attention warning, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard, along with onboard navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; the base SE uses a smaller 4.2-inch display instead of the larger digital cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: Front-wheel-drive models are rated at 19 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined, while all-wheel-drive models drop by 1 mpg across the board.

Which 2026 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, SEL Premium, XRT Pro, Limited, Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live with the smaller 4.2-inch digital display.
• SEL: This is the value-oriented step up if you want a better-equipped Palisade without jumping too far in price.
• SEL Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more equipment and brings in side parking sensors.
• XRT Pro: Choose this if you want the rugged, off-road-leaning version with all-terrain tires, 8.4 inches of ground clearance, recovery hooks, and a standard electronic limited-slip rear differential.
• Limited: This is the upscale choice if you want more luxury and the standard Bose audio system.
• Calligraphy: This is the top luxury trim, with the most premium presentation, evasive steering assist, Highway Driving Assist II, and integrated front and rear dashcams.

The safety package is broad across the lineup, but the SEL Premium adds side parking sensors and the Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist, while Highway Driving Assist II is reserved for the top trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

It looks like a buyer-friendly time to shop, with a healthy mix of inventory and a meaningful share of well-priced listings.

• Deal availability: 43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,013 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade hadn’t received safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety at press time.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The Palisade comes standard with a comprehensive driver-assistance suite that includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, forward attention warning, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. The SEL Premium adds side parking sensors, while the Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.

Hyundai’s base Highway Driving Assist I is standard on all but the top Calligraphy, which gets Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance. One caution from testing is that the system did not consistently detect cyclists, so you should still treat the driver-assist tech as a backup rather than a substitute for attention.

Should I buy a 2026 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Hyundai redesigned the Palisade for 2026, adding a more upscale cabin, stronger tech, and a new rugged XRT Pro.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The outgoing model still offers strong space, improved packaging, and a deal-driven value proposition.

The bottom line: If you want the newest design, the most polished cabin, and the broadest feature set, the 2026 is the better path. If your priority is saving money and you find a well-priced 2025, that older model still makes sense for price-sensitive buyers who want the Palisade’s core strengths.
