New & Used 2026 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearAnkeny, IA

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It comes across as a redesigned three-row SUV that prioritizes family-friendly space, comfort, and a more upscale presentation than a typical utility-focused people mover. The cabin is described as spacious and refined, and the ride quality is a standout strength for everyday use.

Trade-offs: the XRT trim gives up some luxury features, and fuel economy trails top rivals. Even so, the Palisade’s mix of comfort, space, and versatility makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row SUV that feels more polished than plain.

Good and great deals account for 34.6% of listings, so there’s still meaningful market availability.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Palisade is presented as a thoroughly updated redesign, and the expert evaluation emphasizes that Hyundai improved it in meaningful ways over the outgoing version. The standard V6 is described as quiet and refined, and the transmission shifts with authority in normal driving, which supports the impression of a well-sorted powertrain.

Hyundai also backs the Palisade with a generous warranty package, which helps reduce ownership anxiety for used buyers. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about basic durability and more about choosing a well-maintained example with the right equipment for your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify service records, and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping higher-mileage examples or a trim with more equipment. Focus on condition, feature operation, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches how you plan to use it.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE has a much smaller 4.2-inch digital display, while most other trims get a 12.3-inch cluster. The XRT Pro is the rugged-leaning choice, but the XRT trim loses luxury features.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, forward attention warning, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. SEL Premium adds side parking sensors, and Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard, along with onboard navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SEL Premium, XRT Pro, Limited, and Calligraphy models get a Surround View Monitor camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: Front-wheel-drive models are rated at 19 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined, while all-wheel-drive versions drop by 1 mpg across the board.

Which 2026 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 6 trim levels: SE, SEL, SEL Premium, XRT Pro, Limited, and Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but it’s the most stripped-down version, including the smaller 4.2-inch digital display instead of the larger 12.3-inch cluster found on most other trims.
• SEL: This is the value-minded step up if you want a better-equipped Palisade without jumping too far in price.
• SEL Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more equipment and brings side parking sensors.
• XRT Pro: Choose this if you want the most rugged setup, including all-terrain tires, extra ground clearance, recovery hooks, and off-road-focused hardware.
• Limited: This is the upscale comfort choice if you want more premium equipment and the factory-installed tow hitch.
• Calligraphy: This is the top luxury trim, with the most premium presentation, evasive steering assist, upgraded Highway Driving Assist II, and integrated front and rear dashcams.

The safety package is broad across the lineup, but the top Calligraphy gets the most advanced driver-assist setup.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade hadn’t received safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety at press time.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The Palisade comes standard with a comprehensive driver-assistance suite that includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, forward attention warning, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. SEL Premium adds side parking sensors, while Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.

Hyundai’s base Highway Driving Assist I is standard on all but the top Calligraphy, which gets Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance. One caveat from testing is that the system did not consistently detect cyclists, so you should still stay actively engaged behind the wheel.
