New & Used 2026 Honda Passport for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

How much does the 2026 Honda Passport cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 1,129 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 7.8/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The 2026 Honda Passport is aimed at buyers shopping for aspirational lifestyle SUVs, and it stands out as a well-rounded crossover with a more adventurous character than before. Its biggest strengths are space and usability, and it also brings easy-to-use technology to the table.

The trade-offs are clear: it still lacks key off-road features such as a locking differential and low-range 4WD, and it carries a high price tag. It’s a strong fit if you want a comfortable, spacious SUV that can handle family adventures without pretending to be a hardcore off-roader.

33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there’s some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Honda Passport is described as a redesigned model with nearly everything new, including the exterior, interior, engine, and trunk. Honda’s focus on a more capable and more practical two-row SUV suggests a vehicle built to serve daily use and family travel well.

Its naturally aspirated V6 and 10-speed automatic are presented as straightforward, durable hardware, and the powertrain is described as delivering terrific power with unobtrusive operation. Honda also includes a standard wireless phone charger and a broad set of standard equipment, which can help reduce ownership friction.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its higher price and off-road ambitions may make condition and maintenance history especially important to verify.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a TrailSport or a higher-mileage example. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, and signs of hard use, since this SUV is marketed with more adventurous capability than before.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Passport is sold in RTL, TrailSport, and TrailSport Elite trims. The RTL is the most straightforward choice, while the TrailSport models add a more adventurous look and hardware, and the TrailSport Elite brings the most upscale interior presentation.
• Powertrain: Every Passport uses a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD. Honda says the new engine is cleaner and slightly more powerful than before, but fuel economy remains modest.
• Safety package: Every trim includes Honda Safety Sense with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, traffic-sign recognition, and low-speed braking control. All trims also get eight standard airbags.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard, along with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, a Wi-Fi hotspot, four USB-C ports, and a 10.2-inch digital driver display. The TrailSport Elite adds a 12-speaker Bose stereo and TrailWatch camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Passport should return an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city, 25 highway, 21 combined in RTL trim and 18/23/20 in TrailSport and TrailSport Elite trims.

Which 2026 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Passport is offered in 3 trim levels: RTL, TrailSport, TrailSport Elite.

Here's the short version:

• RTL: This is the best-value choice if you want the core Passport experience with standard AWD, the V6, and the full tech and safety baseline without paying for the more adventure-focused trims.
• TrailSport: This is the trim to choose if you want the Passport’s more rugged character, including the off-road-oriented hardware and added trail capability that better match the SUV’s adventurous mission.
• TrailSport Elite: This is the pick if you want the most upscale Passport, with the richest interior presentation and the extra camera and audio equipment that make it the most feature-rich version.

Honda Safety Sense is standard across the lineup, so you don’t have to move up a trim to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,129 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,176, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $46,580 sits slightly below last year's $46,918.

That small decline suggests the Passport is holding value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to a market that is still willing to pay close to current averages.

The model’s strong mix of space, usability, and standard equipment should help keep it appealing to used shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Honda Passport safe?

The 2026 Honda Passport earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda equips every 2026 Passport with Honda Safety Sense, its suite of advanced driver assistance systems. Standard features include automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, traffic-sign recognition, and low-speed braking control.

It also comes with eight standard airbags. A key caveat is that crash testing for this redesigned model was still pending in the source material, so you should treat its safety picture as promising but not fully validated by published test results.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Expert highlight: the redesign brings a new exterior, interior, engine, and trunk, plus a more adventurous overall character.

Consider the 2027 if:

• The TrailSport trims gain upgraded suspension and extra ground clearance.

The bottom line: If you want the newest redesign and a stable used-market price, the 2026 is the better starting point. If you’re specifically shopping for the most trail-ready Passport, the 2027’s TrailSport updates make it worth a look, especially if you’re willing to pay for the newer setup.
