How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 3,069 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2026 Honda CR-V. The overview points to a compact crossover that leans into practicality, safety, and everyday ease of use, with a refreshed cabin that adds a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging across the lineup. It also emphasizes useful space, with 41 inches of rear legroom and 39.3 cubic feet of cargo room behind the rear seats, plus a well-rounded mix of efficiency and standard safety features.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that prioritizes comfort, versatility, and low-stress daily driving over flash or sporty handling. 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview reinforces that reputation by describing the CR-V as a model known for reliability, safety, and value. It also highlights standard driver-assistance features such as lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and adaptive cruise control, all of which support confidence in everyday use.

For used buyers, that combination suggests lower long-term ownership risk than many rivals, especially if you choose a well-kept example with a clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm there are no hidden issues, title problems, or prior damage. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so a mechanic can check the brakes, tires, suspension, and any signs of uneven wear or poor maintenance. Focus on overall condition, because a well-cared-for CR-V should show consistent service records and minimal cosmetic or mechanical wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,069 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,452, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $34,618 sits slightly below last year's $34,958.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern usually points to predictable depreciation instead of a sudden drop in value. It also means your resale outcome will likely depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market movement.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the CR-V with the latest standard tech and a stable used-car market, the 2026 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may make more sense, especially if you can find a clean, well-maintained example with similar equipment for less.
