How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,960 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2026 Honda CR-V is positioned as a compact crossover that blends practicality with a broad set of standard technology and safety features, and it keeps the CR-V formula focused on comfort, space, and efficiency. You also get a roomy cabin, useful cargo space, and a well-rounded feature set that makes it easy to live with for commuting, family use, and everyday errands. With 28.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Honda CR-V’s overview emphasizes a long-running reputation for safety and reliability, along with standard driver-assist features that support everyday confidence. It is also described as easy to live with, which matters when you want a used SUV that should stay straightforward over time. For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership stress if you keep up with routine maintenance and choose a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report so you can confirm title status, prior damage, and service patterns. Put inspection priority on the condition of the cabin, cargo area, tires, brakes, and any signs of uneven wear that could hint at harder use. Since this model is valued for comfort, space, and technology, make sure the features you care about work properly and that the vehicle feels consistent with its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,960 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,459, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $34,628 sits slightly below last year's $34,904.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For you as a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand instead of a volatile resale environment. The CR-V’s practical layout, broad appeal, and strong feature set should continue to support buyer interest when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the most up-to-date CR-V with the refreshed tech and standard equipment, the 2026 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may be the better secondary path, especially if you can find a cleaner example at a meaningfully lower asking price.
