New & Used 2026 Genesis GV70 for Sale nearCross State, SD

How much does the 2026 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 6.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,339 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The GV70’s appeal comes from its refined styling, standard all-wheel drive, and a technology package that remains a major draw. It also gets a very wide OLED display and a comprehensive software upgrade, which helps the cabin feel more modern and competitive in a crowded class.

The trade-offs are that the ergonomic design is a weak point and there is no hybrid option. Even so, the GV70 still fits well if you want a compact luxury SUV that leans into style, standard traction, and a strong tech presentation.

With 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 GV70 is presented as a carryover of a formula that has already worked well for Genesis, with subtle exterior updates and a comprehensive technology and safety refresh. Its advanced safety systems and standard all-wheel drive support the impression of a well-rounded ownership experience.

The performance setup also points to a polished daily-driver character, with a smooth ride and high-tech suspension tuning designed to improve comfort over rough surfaces. Genesis also says the refreshed software behind the GV70’s technology and safety systems has been comprehensively upgraded.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the GV70’s premium tech and complex feature set can make condition and maintenance history especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV with a lot of technology and driver-assistance hardware. Focus on cabin condition, screen operation, and how well the electronics and safety systems respond in real-world use. If you’re comparing listings, pay close attention to whether the equipment level matches the trim being advertised.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GV70 emphasizes refined styling, a strong grille and fascia treatment, and a luxurious cabin, while Sport models add dark chrome molding, unique wheel options, and carbon-fiber-style interior trim. The top Sport Prestige edition gets real carbon fiber across large interior areas, so base and lower trims will feel less dramatic by comparison.
• Powertrain: The base setup is a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the optional 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 delivers 375 hp and 391 lb-ft. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, and the V6 brings the stronger performance character.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Front and Rear Parking Distance Warning, Safe Exit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert and Forward Attention Warning. Front, Rear and Side Parking Distance Warning plus Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist are added on the 2.5T Advanced and 3.5T Sport Prestige trims.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 27-inch OLED display, and the system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, OTA updates, customizable themes, a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, and digital gauges with configurable views.
• Fuel efficiency: The base trim is estimated at 20 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. The 2.5T Sport Prestige drops to 21-inch tires and 26 mpg highway, while the larger engine is estimated at 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

Which 2026 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Genesis GV70 is offered in 4 trim levels: 2.5T, 2.5T Select, 2.5T Advanced, and 2.5T Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5T: This is the entry point if you want the GV70’s core strengths at the lowest price, including standard all-wheel drive, the 2.5-liter turbo engine, and the refreshed cabin tech. It makes the most sense if you want the style and standard equipment without paying for extras you may not use.
• 2.5T Select: This trim adds a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and upgraded aluminum trim, making it the best-value step up for many shoppers. If you want a more upscale feel without jumping too far in price, this is the one to focus on.
• 2.5T Advanced: This is the trim to target if you want a more complete luxury experience, including an excellent Bang & Olufsen audio system, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, and leather seating surfaces. It’s the sweet spot for buyers who want the GV70 to feel fully loaded without going all the way to the top.
• 2.5T Sport Prestige: This is the fully loaded choice, with the most features and the most premium presentation. It suits you best if you want the richest cabin and don’t mind paying for it.

The safety package expands on the 2.5T Advanced and 3.5T Sport Prestige trims with additional parking-assist features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Genesis GV70?

The market looks selective rather than overheated, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,339 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $51,570, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $53,446 sits slightly below last year's $57,247.

That price movement suggests the GV70 has already given back some value, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future resale gains are more modest. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation compared with someone who paid closer to the prior-year average.

The model’s strong market position and broad appeal should help support demand, especially if you choose a well-equipped trim in good condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 safe?

The 2026 GV70 has not yet been crash tested, but the 2025 Genesis GV70 was rated a Top Safety Pick+ by the IIHS, and past versions have earned five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The GV70 comes with a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Front and Rear Parking Distance Warning, Safe Exit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert and Forward Attention Warning. Genesis Highway Driving Assist also now uses capacitive sensors to detect your hands on the steering wheel.

A notable caveat is that the refreshed 2026 model has not yet been formally crash tested, so the strongest safety evidence still comes from the prior model year and Genesis’ unchanged structural approach.

Should I buy a 2026 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The refreshed cabin centers on a very wide 27-inch OLED display and a comprehensive software upgrade.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest GV70 with the most modern cabin presentation, the 2026 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2026 stands out if you value the updated interior tech and the current market’s softer pricing.
