New & Used 2026 Genesis G80 for Sale nearFlorence, SC

Is the 2026 Genesis G80 a good car?

The 2026 Genesis G80 earns an 8.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

That score lines up with the car’s core appeal: it is a midsize luxury sedan that leans into old-school elegance, premium materials, and impressive technology rather than a cold, overly technical feel. It is especially compelling if you want a traditional luxury-car character with calm, confident road manners and a cabin that feels special.

The trade-offs are real, though. The brakes can feel grabby, and the rear seat cushion lacks comfort. Highway Driving Assist also has quirks that can interrupt the otherwise polished experience.

Even with those drawbacks, the G80’s design-led appeal and upscale cabin give it a distinctive place in the segment, and 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Genesis G80 reliable?

The 2026 Genesis G80 is presented as a calm, confident luxury sedan with a traditional character rather than an overly technical one. Its expert evaluation emphasizes a smooth, composed driving experience, and the powertrain is described as satisfying and effortless for highway driving.

The car’s ownership case is strengthened by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and complimentary scheduled maintenance, plus valet service that picks up the car and leaves a courtesy vehicle. That combination helps reduce early ownership friction for used buyers.

For long-term used ownership, the main risk is less about the car’s basic mission and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been cared for properly, since luxury features and driver-assist systems can be costly if neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are looking at a higher-spec example with more equipment to verify. Focus on the condition of the brakes, rear-seat comfort, and the behavior of the driver-assistance systems during a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2.5T line includes base, Advanced, and Sport Prestige trims, while the 3.5T comes in Sport Prestige and Prestige Black. The base model misses the 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, so feature gaps are most noticeable there.
• Powertrain: The G80 is offered with a turbocharged four-cylinder or a twin-turbocharged V6, both paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD. The four-cylinder is the more efficient choice on paper, while the V6 delivers stronger performance.
• Safety package: Highway Driving Assist combines adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, and lane-change assist. Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 is also included, and higher-spec vehicles add a surround-view camera system and blind-spot monitor.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a 27-inch OLED display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system supports saved driver profiles, fingerprint authentication, and digital key technology.
• Fuel efficiency: The 3.5T is rated at 18 mpg combined, while the 2.5T is rated at 23 mpg combined.

Which 2026 Genesis G80 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Genesis G80 is offered in 5 trim levels: 2.5T base, 2.5T Advanced, 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Prestige Black.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5T base: This is the entry point, but it is the most stripped-down version of the lineup. It gives you the G80’s core luxury-sedan character at the lowest price, though you give up some of the richer equipment that makes the car feel especially upscale.
• 2.5T Advanced: This is the trim that makes the most sense for many shoppers because it adds meaningful comfort and convenience without jumping all the way to the pricier V6 models. If you want the best balance of value and luxury content, this is the one to focus on.
• 2.5T Sport Prestige: Choose this if you want the four-cylinder model with a fuller luxury presentation and more of the premium features that define the G80’s appeal.
• 3.5T Sport Prestige: This is the performance-leaning choice if you want the stronger twin-turbo V6 and the more fully equipped version of the car. It suits you best if you care more about power and a richer feature set than outright value.
• 3.5T Prestige Black: This is the most exclusive-feeling version in the lineup, aimed at buyers who want the V6 with the most upscale presentation.

The safety package includes Highway Driving Assist, and the system’s quirks are worth noting if you plan to use it often.
