New & Used 2026 Audi Q5 for Sale nearWashington, IL

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi Q5 earns a 6.5/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It leans heavily on screens to stay competitive in the compact luxury SUV class, and that tech-forward approach is paired with a refined ride and confident performance. For you, that means the Q5 makes the most sense if you value an easy-to-use infotainment setup and a polished driving experience.

The trade-offs are real, though: the interior materials are called out as cheap, and ergonomic issues can make the cabin feel less convincing than the price suggests. High pricing also keeps it from feeling like an easy recommendation, even with a good amount of standard equipment.

Good and great deals account for 37.2% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished, competent SUV with a hushed cabin, stable road manners, and a comfortable ride. Its turbocharged 2.0-liter engine is described as smooth, with turbo lag and vibration kept to a minimum.

Audi also includes three years or 30,000 miles of scheduled maintenance with every new car, which helps soften early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Q5’s expensive, tech-heavy cabin and premium pricing can make repairs and upkeep feel less forgiving over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping a higher-trim example with more equipment to verify. Focus on cabin condition, screen operation, and whether the interior feels as solid and well-kept as the price would suggest.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige differ most in screen count and convenience features, with the base trim lacking the passenger-side display found higher up.
• Powertrain: Every Q5 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with standard quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, blind spot monitors, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control. Forward cross-traffic alert, braking, evasive steering assist, and lane-keep assist are added on the Premium Plus, while rear emergency braking is available on the Prestige.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster are standard, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the Prestige adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q5 is rated at 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway.

Which 2026 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Q5 experience with the standard tech, all-wheel drive, and strong equipment list. It makes the most sense if you want the Q5’s fundamentals without paying for extra screens and convenience features.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim because it adds meaningful safety and convenience upgrades, including forward cross-traffic alert, braking, evasive steering assist, and lane-keep assist. If you want the most balanced mix of features and price, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This trim is for you if you want the most tech-rich Q5, including the passenger display, Park Assist Pro, and rear emergency braking. It also brings the most upscale feature set, but it comes at the highest price.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, with the Premium Plus adding key driver-assistance upgrades and the Prestige adding rear emergency braking.

Audi makes a strong safety case with a standard center frontal airbag and rear side airbags, both of which are uncommon features. The Premium Plus adds forward cross-traffic alert, braking, evasive steering assist, and lane-keep assist, while rear emergency braking is available on the Prestige. The main caveat is that some of the more advanced safety features are not standard on every trim.
