New & Used 2026 Audi Q5 for Sale nearFlat Rock, IL

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi Q5 earns a 6.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It fits best if you want a compact luxury SUV with a polished driving experience, strong standard tech, and a refined ride. The Q5’s strengths are clear in its confident performance, intuitive infotainment, and good amount of standard equipment, but those positives are tempered by cheap interior materials, ergonomic issues, and a high price.

Trade-offs: the cabin quality does not match the price, and the overall package is described as competent rather than especially compelling.

With 39.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is presented as a polished, well-equipped SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a muted turbocharged four-cylinder, which supports a calm, predictable driving experience. The ride is described as comfortable and stable, and the powertrain keeps turbo lag and vibration to a minimum.

Audi also includes three years or 30,000 miles of scheduled maintenance with every new car, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Q5’s high purchase price and cabin-quality concerns may make it harder to feel fully rewarded over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a careful inspection, especially if you are comparing trims with different screen setups and driver-assistance equipment. Pay close attention to cabin condition, control ergonomics, and whether the features you want are standard on the specific trim you are considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower Premium and Premium Plus trims do not get the passenger-side screen, while the Prestige adds it along with a more elaborate cabin tech setup.
• Powertrain: Every Q5 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, plus standard quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, blind spot monitors, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control. Premium Plus adds forward cross-traffic alert, braking, evasive steering assist, and lane-keep assist through Adaptive Cruise Assist. Rear emergency braking is available on the Prestige.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster are standard, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and the Prestige adds a third 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q5 is rated at 21 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined.

Which 2026 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point and gives you the core Q5 experience with the standard powertrain, all-wheel drive, and the main infotainment setup. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model and are comfortable skipping the extra passenger-side screen and some of the more advanced convenience and safety features.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds meaningful safety and convenience upgrades, including forward cross-traffic alert, braking, evasive steering assist, and lane-keep assist. If you want the strongest mix of equipment and price, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This is the most feature-rich version, adding the passenger-side screen, Park Assist Pro, and rear emergency braking. It suits you if you want the most advanced tech and convenience features and are willing to pay for them.

The safety package is strongest on the higher trims, with the Premium Plus adding several useful driver-assistance features and the Prestige adding rear emergency braking.

Should I buy a 2026 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It emphasizes screens, strong standard tech, and a refined ride.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It introduced the redesign and brought Audi’s current design language and tech suite.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the latest version of this redesigned Q5 and can find a well-priced example with the features you want. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth considering because it delivers the core redesign benefits and may offer a lower entry point.
