New & Used 2026 Audi Q5 for Sale nearElizabeth City, NC

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi Q5 earns a 6.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Technology, and Safety.

It still fits the role of a compact luxury SUV that emphasizes an intuitive infotainment system, a refined ride, confident performance, and a good amount of standard equipment. That makes it a sensible choice if you want a polished daily driver with strong core competence.

The trade-offs are real, though: the interior materials are called cheap, and ergonomic issues plus a high price keep it from feeling especially compelling. In practical terms, you’re getting a well-rounded luxury SUV that covers the basics well, but doesn’t stand out the way it once did.

Good and great deals account for 36.9% of listings, which suggests there’s at least some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Audi Q5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is presented as a familiar, well-developed SUV with standard quattro all-wheel drive, a muted turbocharged four-cylinder, and a cabin that stays composed and comfortable in everyday use. Its performance notes point to minimal turbo lag and vibration, plus rock-solid stability and a hushed cabin.

Audi also includes three years or 30,000 miles of scheduled maintenance with every new car, which helps soften early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Q5’s high purchase price and mixed interior quality could make it harder to justify if you plan to keep it for many years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a careful inspection, especially if you’re comparing trims with different tech and safety equipment. Focus on cabin condition, screen operation, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim has a blank lower dash area where higher trims add more screen presence, while the Prestige adds a passenger display and more upscale tech. The base setup is still well equipped, but the higher trims add more of the flashy screen-heavy experience.
• Powertrain: Every Q5 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Efficiency is competitive for the class.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, blind spot monitors, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control. Forward cross-traffic alert, braking, evasive steering assist, and lane-keep assist are added on the Premium Plus, while rear emergency braking is available on the Prestige.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster are standard, with a third 10.9-inch passenger screen on Prestige trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and Google built-in apps are included.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q5 is rated at 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway.

Which 2026 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Q5 experience with standard all-wheel drive, the turbocharged four-cylinder, and the main infotainment setup. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the lineup.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim because it adds important driver-assistance upgrades, including forward cross-traffic alert, braking, evasive steering assist, and lane-keep assist. If you want the strongest mix of equipment and price, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This is the most feature-rich version, adding the passenger display, Park Assist Pro, and rear emergency braking. Choose it if you want the most tech-forward Q5 and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is strongest on the Premium Plus and Prestige, while the base trim leaves some of the more advanced assistance features behind.

Should I buy a 2026 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2026 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It adds a strong standard equipment mix, refined performance, and a more screen-heavy cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• The redesign brought a more modern feel and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Q5 with strong standard equipment and a polished driving feel, the 2026 is the cleaner pick. If you’re more price-sensitive and want a similarly comfortable, user-friendly luxury SUV, the 2025 is worth a look.
