New & Used 2026 Audi A5 for Sale nearJoshua Tree, CA

Is the 2026 Audi A5 a good car?

The 2026 Audi A5 is a stylish luxury car that now plays a broader role than earlier versions of the nameplate. It is offered only as a five-door hatchback, and Audi says the larger body gives it more room inside while the hatchback tailgate adds useful cargo space.

You also get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48-volt hybrid system, plus all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Audi pairs that setup with a stiffer chassis and suspension tuning that contribute to excellent handling, while the standard steel suspension keeps the package straightforward. Inside, the A5 leans heavily into technology, and standard equipment includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a power liftgate.

The main tradeoff is that it is no longer offered as a coupe or convertible, and the most advanced comfort and convenience features are reserved for higher trims. Even so, 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent amount of market flexibility if you want a premium, practical luxury car.

Is the 2026 Audi A5 reliable?

The 2026 Audi A5 is presented as a well-equipped luxury car with a straightforward standard powertrain, a standard steel suspension, and a strong safety profile. Audi also gives it a broad set of standard features, which can help reduce the need to chase options just to get a well-rounded car.

Its design emphasizes balance between everyday usability, technology, and upscale presentation rather than complexity for its own sake. For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is mainly tied to the usual premium-car maintenance and repair costs, so condition and service history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s records match its condition and mileage. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior electronics, tires, brakes, and suspension, since those are the areas where wear or prior damage can show up even on a clean-looking luxury car.
