The 2026 model is positioned as a rare enthusiast-focused car in a market dominated by SUVs, and it blends comfort, utility, and driving satisfaction in a five-door liftback body. For 2026, subtle styling updates and an improved standard infotainment system help keep it current, and Acura’s only car model still has a practical edge thanks to its liftback design.

The trade-offs are clear: all-wheel drive is not available, hybrid power is not offered, and the technology is described as outdated. Even so, the car’s stylish design and fun-to-drive character make it appealing if you want something practical without giving up engagement.

34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Acura Integra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Acura Integra is presented as a car that blends comfort, utility, and driving satisfaction, and the expert review emphasizes quality, practicality, and a rare liftback layout. It also gets described as enjoyable to drive, with a setup that offers plenty of power and impressive fuel economy at a much better value than the Acura’s more expensive alternatives.

The performance notes point to a lively turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder and a refined driving experience, while the cost-effectiveness commentary highlights that it provides the technology you’re most likely to want without extraneous features you’re unlikely to need. If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is that the car’s appeal depends heavily on whether you value its niche mix of practicality and driving enjoyment enough to accept its limitations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Acura Integra?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim car with more equipment. Focus on condition details that matter in daily use: infotainment responsiveness, interior wear, and whether the car’s features match the trim level you’re paying for.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base, A-Spec, A-Spec with Technology, and Type S are the trim levels to compare. The base car is the simplest version, while the A-Spec trims add more visual and cabin polish, and the A-Spec with Technology brings additional equipment that helps close the gap to the more premium-feeling versions.
• Powertrain: The lineup uses a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine for the regular models, while the Type S gets a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with much more output. The standard setup emphasizes usable power and efficiency, while the Type S is the clear performance choice.
• Safety package: Every Integra comes with AcuraWatch, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also included, while the A-Spec Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 9-inch touchscreen paired with a 10.2-inch digital instrumentation display. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless phone charging are standard, and the A-Spec with Technology adds SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, Alexa Built-in, AcuraLink connected services with Wi-Fi hotspot access, a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system, and a 5.3-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The regular turbocharged 1.5-liter engine is described as offering impressive fuel economy, and the expert review notes that the car missed the official EPA estimate of 30 mpg in combined city and highway driving by 3.5 mpg on the evaluation loop.

Which 2026 Acura Integra trim should I buy?

The 2026 Acura Integra is offered in 4 trim levels: base, A-Spec, A-Spec with Technology, and Type S.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point if you want the Integra’s liftback practicality, standard AcuraWatch safety tech, and the updated 9-inch touchscreen without paying for extra appearance or convenience upgrades.
• A-Spec: This is the best-value trim if you want a more distinctive look and a richer cabin feel, since it adds the sportier visual treatment and interior upgrades without jumping all the way to the most expensive versions.
• A-Spec with Technology: This is the trim to target if you want the most complete everyday package, because it adds more infotainment and convenience equipment, plus the available manual transmission and additional chassis hardware.
• Type S: This is the one to choose if performance is your priority, since it is the most powerful and most focused version in the lineup.

Every Integra comes standard with AcuraWatch, and the A-Spec Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2026 Integra comes standard with AcuraWatch, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard, while the A-Spec Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

There are a few caveats to keep in mind: the lane-centering assist system requires regular steering input reminders, and the lane-keeping assist system can be less reassuring in challenging light conditions. The manual-transmission setup also limits how the adaptive cruise control behaves in stop-and-go traffic.

Should I buy a 2026 Acura Integra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Expert or safety highlight specific to this year: subtle styling updates and an improved standard infotainment system help keep the 2026 model fresh.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Integra with updated styling and standard tech improvements, the 2026 model is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may still make sense, especially if you’re willing to trade away some of the latest updates for a lower price.
