How much does the 2025 Volvo XC60 cost?

Prices have softened 1.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,551 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare by trim, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2025 Volvo XC60 a good car?

The 2025 Volvo XC60 stands out as a premium compact crossover that blends safety, efficiency, and a clean Scandinavian design. It is a five-passenger SUV with a luxury-oriented cabin and a straightforward, modern look that some buyers will see as timeless rather than flashy.

For 2025, the XC60 continues with fuel-efficient four-cylinder powertrains, including a plug-in hybrid, and it leans into Volvo’s recent focus on electrification and efficiency. Standard equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights, and a nine-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while available features such as Nappa leather, a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, air suspension, and Pilot Assist add to its upscale feel.

33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Volvo XC60 reliable?

The 2025 Volvo XC60 is built around Volvo’s long-running emphasis on safety, and that focus is a major part of its appeal. The XC60 has built a reputation around standard safety tech and strong safety ratings.

That said, you should still expect the usual used-luxury ownership considerations, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle long term. A careful pre-purchase inspection matters because premium features and complex powertrains can raise repair exposure over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Volvo XC60?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with advanced options.

Focus on overall condition, service records, and how the drivetrain and brakes feel on a test drive. The XC60’s premium equipment can be appealing, but you want to make sure the vehicle has been maintained as carefully as it presents.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,551 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,055, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $42,499 sits slightly below last year's $42,999.

That modest decline suggests the XC60 is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain when it is time to sell.

For a future seller, the current pricing trend means condition and equipment will matter a lot. A clean history, strong maintenance records, and desirable features should help your listing stand out in a market where shoppers have plenty of choices.

Should I buy a 2025 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.16% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• New Car UX infotainment with an 11.2-inch touchscreen and Google Gemini integration.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary target if you want a strong mix of value, inventory, and proven appeal. If you are more focused on the newest cabin tech and can stretch for a newer model, the 2026 is the secondary path to consider.
