Is the 2025 Subaru Solterra a good car?
The 2025 Subaru Solterra lands in a moderate market position, which makes it a reasonable choice if you want an electric SUV and are shopping with some flexibility. With 27.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to find a competitive price, but you should still compare condition and equipment carefully.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas can shape your ownership experience. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence rather than assuming every clean-title example is equally well kept.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Solterra?
This looks like a selective buyer’s market, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to reward patience.
- Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Solterra or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
Consider the 2024 if:
- It brought meaningful updates to charging, safety features, and cabin comfort.
Consider the 2026 if:
- It adds a new look, NACS fast charging, and more available horsepower.
The bottom line: The 2025 makes sense if you want to shop the current-year used market with decent deal availability and strong clean-title inventory. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2024 is worth a look for its update package and potentially lower asking prices, while the 2026 is the better path if you want the newest improvements and can stretch your budget.
