Is the 2025 Subaru Legacy a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Legacy stands out as a practical used sedan with standard all-wheel drive, strong safety content, and a comfortable, everyday-friendly character. It also remains relatively affordable compared with some rivals, which helps if you want a well-equipped sedan without stretching into higher-priced alternatives.

For your use case, the Legacy makes the most sense if you value security, calm driving manners, and a straightforward ownership experience more than flashy styling or sporty performance. Its standard AWD, DriverFocus system, EyeSight suite, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane keep assist, and 11.6-inch infotainment screen give it a clear identity as a sensible commuter and family sedan.

Is the 2025 Subaru Legacy reliable?

The 2025 Subaru Legacy is presented as a comfort-focused, safety-forward sedan with a long-running reputation for practicality and everyday usability. Its standard AWD and broad safety equipment help reinforce that dependable, low-drama identity.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Legacy?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and whether the car has been cared for consistently. Because this model is meant to be a practical daily driver, a clean, well-kept example matters more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Legacy?

• Inventory: There are 907 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.51% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,547, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Subaru Legacy's resale value?

The current average of $27,734 sits slightly below last year's $28,448.

That price movement suggests the Legacy has softened enough to be more approachable for buyers today, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about pricing. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later. The strongest resale outcome will usually come from a clean-history example with good condition and sensible mileage.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Legacy or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.51% compared with last year.

The bottom line: the 2025 is the right pick if you want the most developed version of this Legacy formula, especially if standard AWD, safety equipment, and everyday comfort matter most. If you're more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a similar ownership experience for less money, so compare condition and history closely before deciding.
