Is the 2025 Subaru Legacy a good car?

It also remains relatively affordable compared with some rivals, which helps if you want a well-equipped sedan without stretching into higher-priced alternatives.

For your use case, the Legacy makes the most sense if you value security, calm driving manners, and a straightforward ownership experience more than flashy styling or sporty performance. Its standard AWD, DriverFocus system, EyeSight suite, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane keep assist, and 11.6-inch infotainment screen give it a clear identity as a sensible commuter and family sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Legacy?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and whether the car has been cared for consistently. Because this model is meant to be a practical daily driver, a clean, well-kept example matters more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.51% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,547, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Subaru Legacy's resale value?

The current average of $27,734 sits slightly below last year's $28,448.

That price movement suggests the Legacy has softened enough to be more approachable for buyers today, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about pricing. The strongest resale outcome will usually come from a clean-history example with good condition and sensible mileage.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Legacy or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.51% compared with last year.
