How much does the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 4.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,658 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek stands out as a simple, practical subcompact crossover with standard all-wheel drive, generous ground clearance, protective bodywork, and roof rails. It is built around a car-like foundation, so you get straightforward daily-driver behavior rather than a complicated SUV setup. It is also aimed at buyers who want useful bad-weather capability and good gas mileage.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a small crossover with real utility and winter confidence instead of flash. The tradeoff is that the base engine is described as underpowered and the CVT can bring noise and droning, so it is best for shoppers who value practicality over performance. 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek is presented as a practical, straightforward crossover with a reputation for being useful in bad weather and easy to live with. Its simple formula, standard AWD, and car-like foundation point to a vehicle that is built around everyday usability rather than complexity.

For used buyers, that usually means your long-term ownership risk is more about condition and maintenance history than about chasing a complicated feature set.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Crosstrek?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you are seriously considering, especially if the price looks unusually strong. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on drivetrain behavior, tire wear, and signs of hard use, since condition matters more than mileage alone on a practical crossover like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Crosstrek?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,658 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,837, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $28,837 sits slightly below last year's $30,308.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the Crosstrek clean and documented, you should be in a better position when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.85% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,293, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $28,837 average.
• It adds multiple engine options and a Wilderness trim for extra off-road capability.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context and a healthy pool of clean listings, the 2025 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you want more capability for less cash.
