How much does the 2025 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 9.25% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 RAM 3500 a good car?

The 2025 RAM 3500 stands out as a heavy-duty truck that has moved far beyond its original workhorse roots. In its current generation, Ram put a major emphasis on luxury and technology while also strengthening the truck’s underlying hardware, so you get serious capability with a cabin that can feel more like a daily driver than a bare-bones hauler.

For you, that means the appeal is strongest if you want a truck that can tow and haul at a very high level while still offering modern comfort and convenience. The tradeoff is that its size still makes it difficult to manage in towns and cities, and the truck’s strengths are more about capability, comfort, and presence than easy maneuverability.

34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 RAM 3500 reliable?

The 2025 RAM 3500 is described as a truck that strengthens its underlying hardware while also adding luxury and technology, which points to a more mature and well-developed package. Its current-generation updates include a stronger frame, new suspension, and a new transmission for Hemi models, all of which support its heavy-duty mission.

The truck’s appeal is also tied to its serious capability and available equipment, including a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and a 12-inch vertical infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about the truck’s mission and more about living with a very large vehicle that can be demanding in everyday use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 3500?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any truck you’re seriously considering, especially if it has been used for towing or other heavy-duty work. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, brakes, tires, and cabin wear, since condition matters a lot on a truck this size and capability-focused. If possible, focus on examples that show consistent maintenance and clean overall presentation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,864 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.25% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $68,960, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $68,960 sits slightly below last year's $75,987.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future resale gains are harder to count on. If you plan to sell later, the truck’s value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well it has been maintained. A clean, well-kept example should hold up better than one that shows heavy work use or visible wear.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.25% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 RAM 3500 makes the most sense if you want a heavy-duty truck with serious towing and hauling ability plus a more upscale cabin and modern tech. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 is the better fit when you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and updated equipment.
