How much does the 2025 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 11.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 RAM 3500 a good car?

The 2025 RAM 3500 stands out as a heavy-duty truck that has moved well beyond its original workhorse roots. Ram has put a strong emphasis on luxury and technology, while also giving the truck a stronger frame, new suspension, and a new transmission for the Hemi models.

It also brings serious capability, with towing figures of more than 35,000 pounds and payload capacity of nearly 8,000 pounds, which helps explain why it remains such a compelling choice for you if you need maximum strength. The cabin and feature set feel far more modern than a traditional heavy-duty pickup, so it fits well if you want a truck that can work hard without feeling stripped down.

33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 RAM 3500 reliable?

The 2025 RAM 3500 is described as a heavy-duty truck that combines serious capability with a cabin and feature set that feel far more modern than a traditional work truck. It also offers a strong frame, new suspension, and a new transmission for the Hemi models.

That mix points to a truck built for demanding use, but it is still a massive heavy-duty pickup with a noisy diesel engine and limited safety technology. For long-term ownership, you should expect higher wear-and-tear risk than you would with a smaller, simpler vehicle, especially if the truck has spent its life towing or hauling.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 3500?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify how the truck was used, especially if it has spent time towing heavy loads. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, tires, and any towing-related equipment, since condition matters more than mileage alone on a truck like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,968 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $67,061, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $67,061 sits slightly below last year's $75,628.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should pay close attention to purchase price and condition, because a softer market can limit how much value you recover later. If you keep the truck well maintained and avoid overpaying now, you give yourself a better chance of protecting resale value down the road.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.33% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want the current-year truck with strong inventory and a softer price trend. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 gives you a good balance of availability, condition, and market value right now.
