How much does the 2025 Porsche Cayenne cost?

There are 1,231 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne earns an 8/10 expert rating, and it is built for you if you want a midsize luxury SUV that still feels genuinely engaging to drive.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The Cayenne’s appeal is that it blends a premium cabin with an agile, performance-focused personality, and even the base model is described as delivering a spirited driving experience. That makes it a strong fit if you want luxury without giving up driver involvement. The trade-offs are that advanced safety features are not standard and options can quickly push the price higher.

There are 31.4% good or great deals in the market, which suggests you may find some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne is presented as a sturdy, well-built luxury SUV with a strong emphasis on performance and refinement, but it also comes with the ownership realities you should expect from a premium Porsche.

The expert review describes the Cayenne as a vehicle that can be configured for serious driving enjoyment while still working as a daily-use luxury SUV. It also notes that the model’s performance hardware and chassis tuning help it feel composed and athletic, which supports the impression of a well-engineered vehicle.

The review also says Porsche covers maintenance for the first year or 10,000 miles, which is a helpful ownership perk early on.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Cayenne’s premium parts, options, and upkeep can make ownership expensive if you buy a poorly maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche Cayenne?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-spec examples with more equipment and more expensive options. Focus on overall condition, service records, and whether the features you want were actually added to the car you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from the base Cayenne to the Cayenne Turbo GT, and the base model may have smaller wheels and satin black trim instead of the gloss black appearance details seen on higher trims. The cabin is well laid out, but the center console can slide fore and aft with slight pressure, so you should check fit and finish carefully.
• Powertrain: The base 3.0-liter V6 makes 348 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque, while higher trims add V8 power and plug-in hybrid options. The Cayenne is tuned for strong back-road performance, and the eight-speed transmission sends power to all four wheels.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes parking sensors, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and lane-departure warning cost extra, and Porsche does not offer a hands-off driving assist.
• Infotainment: The Cayenne uses a curved 12.6-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 10.9-inch passenger screen is optional, and the system also includes Spotify, Apple Music, satellite radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: Porsche does not release fuel economy numbers for this model year.

Which 2025 Porsche Cayenne trim should I buy?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne is offered in 6 trim levels: base Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo GT, Cayenne Coupe, Cayenne GTS coupe.

Here's the short version:

• base Cayenne: This is the best-value starting point if you want the Cayenne’s core appeal — strong performance, standard all-wheel drive, and a premium cabin — without chasing expensive options. It gives you much of the driving character that defines the lineup.
• Cayenne S: This trim is the step up if you want more power and a stronger performance margin while staying below the most extreme versions. It suits you if you want a more muscular daily driver without going all the way to the top.
• Cayenne GTS: This is the enthusiast choice if you want the sharpest balance of sporty handling and everyday comfort. It adds more aggressive performance character and is the trim most clearly aimed at drivers who care about back-road fun.
• Cayenne Turbo GT: This is the most extreme performance choice in the lineup, and it is for you if outright speed matters more than value. It is the halo model, but it also pushes the price up quickly.
• Cayenne Coupe: Choose this if you want the sleeker body style and are willing to trade some practicality for style. It is more about appearance and presence than changing the Cayenne’s core mission.
• Cayenne GTS coupe: This is the pick if you want the GTS performance character in the coupe body style. It combines the sportier look with the more aggressive driving setup.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so you should pay close attention to which driver-assistance items are included on the specific car you’re shopping.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche Cayenne?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,231 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.56% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 97.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $100,669, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $102,221 sits slightly above last year's $100,647.

That tells you the Cayenne is holding value reasonably well for a used luxury SUV in this price range. The year-over-year increase suggests buyers are still willing to pay for its performance and premium image.

If you plan to sell later, that kind of pricing stability can help support your resale position. The strongest examples will likely be the ones with desirable equipment, clean history, and strong overall condition.

Is the 2025 Porsche Cayenne safe?

The 2025 Porsche Cayenne earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Porsche includes parking sensors, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring as standard equipment, but adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and lane-departure warning cost extra. Porsche also does not offer a hands-off driving assist.

That means you should pay close attention to the exact safety equipment on any used example you consider, especially if you want more than the basics. The main caveat is that advanced driver-assistance coverage is limited unless the original buyer added it.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.56% year-over-year.
• The 2025 model year keeps the Cayenne’s agile driving character, premium cabin, and strong performance focus intact.

The bottom line: If you want the Cayenne’s blend of luxury and driving enjoyment, the 2025 is a strong choice. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still delivering much of the same core appeal.
