Used 2025 Nissan Z for Sale nearGrand Rapids, MI

How much does the 2025 Nissan Z cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 286 listings available, which suggests a modest but workable amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2025 Nissan Z a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Z stands out because it stays close to the classic Z-car formula while adding modern performance and technology. It uses a powerful V6 engine up front, rear-wheel drive, and a two-seat layout, and its styling deliberately draws on the brand’s heritage. The cabin is also thoroughly modern, with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus an eight- or nine-inch display depending on trim.

For 2025, the Z continues with Sport, Performance, and NISMO trims. The Performance trim adds larger, high-performance brakes, lightweight RAYS wheels, and a mechanical limited-slip differential, while the NISMO brings more aggressive aerodynamic bodywork, an updated suspension, larger brake rotors, and wider rear tires. The NISMO’s retuned turbo V6 produces 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, giving the car a more serious track-focused edge.

There are a few tradeoffs to keep in mind. The Z rides on an aging platform, and its suspension is described as soft, while the stock tires are disappointing. Even so, it remains appealing for buyers who want a fast, fun-to-drive sports car with a strong reliability reputation and a layout that is easy to modify.

38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful share of the market to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Z reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Z remains appealing for buyers who want a fast, fun-to-drive sports car with a strong reliability reputation and a layout that is easy to modify. It also keeps a straightforward rear-wheel-drive, two-seat formula that should feel familiar if you want a traditional sports-car experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that performance-focused parts and modifications can make condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Z?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s past matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been modified or driven hard, and focus on tire wear, brake condition, and signs of uneven use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Z?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently while still acting quickly on the best listings.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 286 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,508, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Z's resale value?

The current average of $42,049 sits slightly below last year's $42,444.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than volatile. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a reasonable path to preserving value. The strongest resale outcomes will likely come from clean, unmodified examples with clear service history and desirable trim content.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Z or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $41,963, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,049 average.
• It adds sharper enthusiast appeal with a manual transmission and stronger handling.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a Heritage Edition with distinctive retro styling and extra visual appeal.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want a current-year Z with stable pricing and solid inventory quality. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want the freshest styling touches and can pay more for them.
