Used 2025 Nissan Z for Sale nearColumbus, IN

How much does the 2025 Nissan Z cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 294 listings available, which suggests a modest but workable amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2025 Nissan Z a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Z stands out because it blends a classic rear-wheel-drive sports car formula with modern performance and technology. It uses a powerful V6 engine up front, sends power to the rear wheels, and offers either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic.

For 2025, the Z continued with Sport, Performance, and NISMO trims. The Performance trim added larger high-performance brakes, lightweight RAYS wheels, and a mechanical limited-slip differential, while the NISMO brought more aggressive aerodynamic bodywork, an updated suspension, larger brake rotors, and wider rear tires. The Z is appealing if you want a familiar sports car layout, modern infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a range of trims that let you choose between a simpler enthusiast setup and a more track-focused version.

40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Nissan Z reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Z stands out because it blends a classic rear-wheel-drive sports car formula with modern performance and technology. It uses a powerful V6 engine up front, sends power to the rear wheels, and offers either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic.

The platform is aging, the suspension is soft, and the stock tires are disappointing, so you should expect a sports car that rewards careful evaluation rather than casual buying. For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is best managed by focusing on maintenance history and overall condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Z?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the tires, brakes, suspension, and any signs of hard use, since this is a performance-oriented coupe. Focus on how the car has been maintained and whether any modifications or track use have affected its condition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Z?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 294 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,517, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Z's resale value?

The current average of $42,435 sits slightly above last year's $42,351.

That small increase suggests the Z has held its value fairly well in the used market. If you buy carefully and keep mileage, condition, and maintenance in check, you should have a reasonable shot at preserving value. The steady pricing also means future resale should depend more on condition and trim than on broad market swings.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Z or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $42,402, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,435 average.
• It adds more performance while keeping the core sports-car formula intact.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the classic two-seat, rear-drive formula while adding a more distinctive Heritage Edition.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around path if you want the current-year balance of pricing, inventory, and condition. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better secondary path because it comes in slightly cheaper while staying close to the same formula.

How does the 2025 Nissan Z compare to the 2025 Ford Mustang?

The Z gives you more horsepower and a slightly stronger share of good deals, while the Mustang offers far more inventory and a lower starting MSRP. If you want a more exclusive sports coupe with a strong condition profile, the Z makes sense; if you want broader shopping choice and a lower entry price, the Mustang is the easier buy.
