Used 2025 Nissan Murano for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2025 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 14.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,935 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Nissan Murano earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The 2025 Murano is positioned as a stylish, comfort-oriented crossover, and the redesign gives it a fresh identity with a more modern cabin and a stronger premium feel up front. The front row is described as extremely comfortable, and the vehicle also offers a very affordable premium for all-wheel drive, which makes it appealing if you want an upscale-feeling crossover without jumping much farther upmarket.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the backseat legroom is poor, and true hands-free driving is not available. Nissan also removed some features that were previously more affordably accessible, so the value story is strongest if you care more about comfort, style, and front-seat experience than maximum practicality.

With 37.0% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Murano’s reliability case leans on a new powertrain and a redesigned package that aims to improve refinement and everyday usability. The new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic, which is a meaningful step away from the older CVT setup and should help the Murano feel more responsive in daily driving. The expert drive notes also point to noticeable noise cancellation and a calmer cabin experience, both of which support the sense that this is built for easy ownership.

If you value a smoother transmission, standard modern tech, and a comfort-first layout, the Murano looks like a sensible long-term bet. The main ownership risk for used buyers is that some desirable features were moved up the trim ladder, so you’ll want to verify equipment carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even with a strong share of clean listings, you should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping a higher-mileage example or a trim with more equipment. Focus on condition details that matter most to you, since the Murano’s appeal is tied closely to comfort, tech, and trim content. It’s also smart to confirm exactly which driver-assistance and convenience features are present, because the trim ladder changes the experience meaningfully.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you the new look, standard 20-inch wheels, and a strong tech foundation, while higher trims add more upscale touches and convenience features. The SL trim is especially important because it brings the glass-effect dash treatment, Google Built-In, a Bose audio system, and ambient lighting, but it also loses genuine leather seating surfaces in favor of leatherette.
• Powertrain: The 2025 Murano uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is rated at 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and the new setup is described as torquier and more responsive than the old CVT-based arrangement.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, with lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also included, while SL and Platinum trims get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 plus more advanced camera-based visibility features.
• Infotainment: Every Murano gets a dual 12.3-inch screen setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and four USB-C ports. SL trims add Google Built-In and a 10-speaker Bose Premium Series audio system, while Platinum adds a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 21 mpg city, 27 highway, and 23 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Murano is offered in 3 trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the new Murano’s core strengths without paying for extras you may not need. You still get the standard tech suite, the new powertrain, and the comfort-focused cabin, and it’s the only trim where front-wheel drive is available.
• SL: This is the best-value trim if you want the Murano to feel meaningfully more upscale. It adds Google Built-In, a 10-speaker Bose Premium Series audio system, 64-color ambient lighting, ProPILOT Assist 1.1, and more advanced visibility tech, making it the sweet spot for shoppers who care about features and daily usability.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most fully equipped Murano, including the head-up display and the most premium presentation. It builds on the SL’s equipment and is aimed at buyers who want the top trim experience.

The safety-package upgrade is important here: SL and Platinum get the more advanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1, plus the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find room to negotiate.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,935 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,674, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $33,674 sits slightly below last year's $39,562.

That price drop suggests the Murano has moved into a more buyer-friendly part of its cycle, which can help future resale if you buy at the right number today. If you pay close to the current average or better, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The model’s refreshed design and strong comfort appeal should help it stay relevant with shoppers who want a stylish crossover rather than a rugged one.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano safe?

The 2025 Nissan Murano earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, and it includes lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. The Murano also adds ProPILOT Assist, which combines Intelligent Cruise Control with Steering Assist, and SL and Platinum trims step up to ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustment. Those higher trims also get the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor with moving-object detection and Invisible Hood View.

A key caveat is that true hands-free driving is not available, even on the top trim. That means the Murano’s driver-assistance setup is helpful, but it does not replace active supervision.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 redesign brings a new powertrain and a broad set of new tech and comfort features, giving the Murano a fresh identity.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Murano with the strongest mix of style, comfort, and modern tech, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply spending less, a nearby older model year may be worth considering, but you’ll be giving up the redesign and the newer feature set that define this generation.
