Used 2025 Nissan Murano for Sale nearOronoco, MN

How much does the 2025 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 14.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,974 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Nissan Murano earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall showing for shoppers who want a stylish, comfort-oriented crossover. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The redesign gives you a fresh identity, a new powertrain, and a broader set of tech and comfort features than before. It also stands out for its extremely comfortable front row and its upscale feel, while still keeping the Murano positioned as a practical crossover rather than a luxury SUV.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the backseat legroom is poor, and true hands-free driving is not available. Nissan also removed some features that used to be more affordably accessible, so the value story is strongest if you care more about comfort and presentation than maximum utility.

The market looks reasonably healthy, with 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Murano’s new powertrain and updated hardware suggest a more modern ownership experience than the previous generation, and the expert evaluation points to a generally positive redesign. The turbocharged engine is described as torquier than the old V6, and the nine-speed automatic is a substantial improvement over the previous CVT, which should help the vehicle feel more responsive in everyday driving.

The safety and convenience equipment also support confidence, especially with standard driver-assistance features and the added ProPILOT Assist system. If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is that some desirable features were removed or pushed higher in the lineup, so you’ll want to verify the exact equipment on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing trims with different equipment levels. Focus on condition details that matter most in daily use, including cabin wear, feature operation, and whether the specific trim has the comfort and tech items you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and the dual 12.3-inch display setup, but higher trims add more upscale equipment. The SL trim brings Google Built-In, a 10-speaker Bose Premium Series audio system, and 64-color ambient lighting, while the Platinum adds a head-up display. The base trim also lacks the more advanced camera and visibility features reserved for higher trims.
• Powertrain: The 2025 Murano uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It makes 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and the transmission is a major step up from the old CVT.
• Safety package: The Murano comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, including lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. It also adds ProPILOT Assist, while SL and Platinum trims get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustment. Higher trims also add a more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.
• Infotainment: You get a monolith-style display with two 12.3-inch screens, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless charging is standard, and the SL trim adds Google Built-In.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Murano is offered in 3 trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the value play if you want the new Murano’s core upgrades without stretching too far. You still get the new turbocharged powertrain, standard wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging, and the full Safety Shield 360 suite with ProPILOT Assist.
• SL: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the biggest everyday upgrades: Google Built-In, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, 64-color ambient lighting, and more advanced visibility tech. It also gets AWD by default.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most upscale Murano experience, including the head-up display and the most advanced camera and visibility features. It’s the trim to target if you want the richest feature set and don’t mind paying for it.

The safety-package step-up on SL and Platinum is especially worth noting because those trims add the more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever for the perfect deal.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,974 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.90% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,309, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $33,309 sits slightly below last year's $39,140.

That price drop suggests the Murano has become more accessible on the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and trim content than it would be in a tighter market.

The good news is that the redesign gives this model a fresher appeal, which can help sustain interest over time. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano safe?

The 2025 Nissan Murano earns a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite is Nissan Safety Shield 360, which includes lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. It also adds ProPILOT Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control with steering assist, while SL and Platinum trims get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustment.

Higher trims also add a more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor with moving-object detection and Invisible Hood View. One important caveat is that true hands-free driving is not available, even on the top trim.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a new powertrain and a broad set of first-time tech and comfort features, giving the Murano a fresh identity.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Murano design, the updated powertrain, and a stronger feature set, the 2025 is the clear pick. If your priority is simply spending less, a nearby model year may still make sense, but you’ll be giving up the fresh redesign and some of the new equipment that define this version.
