Used 2025 Nissan Murano for Sale nearKitty Hawk, NC

How much does the 2025 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 15.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,850 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Nissan Murano earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The redesign gives you a more upscale-feeling crossover with a stylish exterior, a very comfortable front row, and a new powertrain that improves refinement. It also brings a wide range of new tech and comfort features that are appearing in this lineup for the first time.

The trade-offs are real, though: some desirable equipment was removed from the middle trim, and the back seat is tight. True hands-free driving also isn’t part of the package.

With 36.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you a decent chance to find a competitive price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Murano’s redesign leans into comfort and everyday usability, and the new powertrain replaces the older CVT with a nine-speed automatic. That matters because a smoother transmission setup can help the vehicle feel more polished over time.

The expert drive notes also point to a torquier turbocharged engine and improved acceleration feel, which are good signs for day-to-day drivability. On the cost side, the model’s pricing sits closer to the lower end of the midsize-crossover spectrum than the upper end, which can help keep ownership from feeling overly expensive.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that some of the newer convenience and comfort features may be more expensive to repair or replace if they fail.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report, confirm service records, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics and driver-assistance features. Because this model year adds a lot of new equipment, it makes sense to focus on whether everything works as intended, especially on higher-trim vehicles.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you the new look, standard 20-inch wheels, and a modernized cabin, but the SL trim adds the glass-inspired dash treatment, Google Built-In, a Bose audio system, and ambient lighting. The middle trim also lost genuine leather seating surfaces for 2025, so compare interior materials carefully if that matters to you.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is rated at 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and the new transmission is a major improvement over the old CVT.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, with lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also included, while SL and Platinum add ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustment.
• Infotainment: Every Murano gets dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and four USB-C ports. SL adds Google Built-In and a 10-speaker Bose Premium Series audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 21 mpg city, 27 highway, and 23 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Murano is offered in 3 trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the value play if you want the redesigned Murano’s new powertrain, standard wireless smartphone integration, dual 12.3-inch screens, and the full Safety Shield 360 suite without paying for extras you may not need.
• SL: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds Google Built-In, the upgraded Bose audio system, ambient lighting, and the more advanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1 setup.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most upscale version, including the head-up display and the most premium presentation in the lineup.

SL and Platinum both get the more advanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1 system, plus the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best listings may not last long.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,850 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,933, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $33,933 sits slightly below last year's $40,130.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim choice rather than on broad market momentum alone.

Because the Murano is a redesigned model with strong equipment content, well-kept examples should remain appealing to shoppers who want comfort and style. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano safe?

The 2025 Nissan Murano earns a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, and it includes lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. The Murano also adds ProPILOT Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control with steering assist, while SL and Platinum get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based curve anticipation and speed adjustment.

Higher trims also add a 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor with moving-object detection and Invisible Hood View. The main caveat is that true hands-free driving is not available, even on the top trim.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a new powertrain, a more upscale cabin, and a broader set of standard tech and comfort features.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Murano with the strongest mix of style, tech, and comfort, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is spending less upfront, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but you’ll give up the redesigned cabin and the latest feature set.
