Used 2025 Nissan Murano for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2025 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 15.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,945 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Nissan Murano earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The 2025 Murano is positioned as a stylish, comfort-oriented crossover, and the redesign gives it a fresh identity with a more premium feel. It stands out for its extremely comfortable front row and its affordable premium for all-wheel drive, which makes it appealing if you want a more upscale experience without moving too far upmarket.

The trade-offs are real, though: the backseat legroom is poor, and true hands-free driving is not available. Nissan also removed some features that were previously more affordably accessible, so the value story depends on whether you care more about the new design and added tech than the lost conveniences.

With 38.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Murano’s new powertrain and updated nine-speed automatic are part of a broader redesign that aims to improve everyday drivability and refinement. The expert assessment also points to a more torquey setup than the outgoing V6-powered version, along with a transmission that should feel more responsive than the old CVT.

The model’s comfort-focused mission and improved tech package support the case for dependable day-to-day use, and the standard maintenance coverage language suggests a buyer-friendly ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic reliability and more about whether the trim you choose gives you the features and space you actually want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing trims with different equipment levels. Focus on cabin condition, rear-seat usability, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific listing, since some desirable equipment is reserved for higher trims.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets the core comfort and tech setup, but the SL adds the glass-effect dash treatment, Google Built-In, a Bose audio system, and 64-color ambient lighting. The Platinum adds a head-up display and more upscale presentation, while the base trim is the one most likely to leave you without some of the nicer cabin upgrades.
• Powertrain: The Murano uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is rated at 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and the new transmission is described as a substantial improvement over the old CVT.
• Safety package: The standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite includes lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also standard, while SL and Platinum get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustment; higher trims also add Invisible Hood View and a more advanced Intelligent Around View Monitor.
• Infotainment: Every Murano gets dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and four USB-C ports. SL adds Google Built-In and a 10-speaker Bose Premium Series audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Murano is offered in 3 trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the value play if you want the new Murano’s core redesign, standard wireless smartphone integration, dual 12.3-inch displays, and the full Safety Shield 360 suite without paying for the higher-trim luxury extras. It also gives you the lowest entry price and the only trim where AWD is an option rather than standard.
• SL: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds Google Built-In, the Bose audio upgrade, ambient lighting, and more advanced driver-assistance tech while staying below the top trim’s price jump. It also gets the more advanced safety and visibility features that make the Murano feel more upscale.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most premium Murano experience, including the head-up display and the fullest feature set. It makes sense if you care most about comfort and convenience and are willing to pay for them.

The SL and Platinum trims also get the more advanced safety and visibility upgrades, including ProPILOT Assist 1.1 and Invisible Hood View.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,945 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,104, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $33,104 sits slightly below last year's $38,989.

That price movement suggests the Murano has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right number. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range, you may have less downside left than someone who pays closer to the original new-vehicle pricing.

The Murano’s refreshed design and strong feature content should help it stay appealing to used shoppers who want comfort and style. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano safe?

The 2025 Nissan Murano earns a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite includes lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also standard, and SL and Platinum trims add ProPILOT Assist 1.1, which uses navigation data to anticipate curves and adjust speed. Higher trims also get a more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.

A key caveat is that true hands-free driving is not available, even on the top trim. That means you get a strong driver-assistance package, but not the kind of fully hands-off system some rivals offer.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a new powertrain, more standard tech, and a more upscale comfort-focused identity.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Murano with the biggest jump in design, tech, and refinement, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply paying less and you’re comfortable with the older formula, a previous year may still make sense for price-sensitive shopping.
