Used 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE for Sale nearSan Jose, CA

How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE cost?

Prices have softened 2.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 674 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE earns an 8.17/10 expert rating, and it is positioned as a stylish in-betweener with great acceleration, luxury features, and a design meant to feel special.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

That makes it especially appealing if you want a premium coupe or convertible with a strong sense of occasion, plus the kind of tech and cabin polish Mercedes is known for. The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped and cargo space is limited, so it works better as a style-first two-door than as a practical all-rounder. Advanced safety features are also not standard, which matters if you want more driver assistance without paying extra.

34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE is presented as a well-equipped luxury model with a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and complimentary roadside assistance, which helps support ownership confidence.

Its expert evaluation also points to strong design, solid performance, and impressive technology, while the powertrain lineup is described as offering multiple choices with a mild-hybrid system across the range. That combination suggests a car built to deliver premium driving manners and modern features rather than bare-bones simplicity.

If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that premium features and options can make repairs and upkeep more expensive than on a simpler mainstream car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s equipment matches the listing, especially if you are comparing multiple trims or body styles. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing because this is a premium two-door where options and condition can materially affect value. Focus on wear in the cabin, the condition of the top if you are shopping a convertible, and whether the car has the driver-assistance equipment you want.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CLE is available in 300, 450 or AMG CLE 53 trims in either hardtop or convertible body styles, and the lower trims use MB-Tex synthetic leather while the cabin design and ambient lighting help the car feel upscale. The AMG version adds its own front-fascia styling, quad exhaust, and more aggressive visual details, while the base models are less richly equipped.
• Powertrain: The 300 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 255 horsepower, the 450 steps up to a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with 375 horsepower, and the AMG CLE 53 raises that inline-six to 433 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. All models use a mild-hybrid system and a nine-speed automatic.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package adds lane-keep assist, speed-limit monitoring, evasive steering assist, emergency stop assist, automatic lane changes, and active steering with stop-and-go adaptive cruise control. Those features are not standard, so you should check carefully whether a used example has the package.
• Infotainment: Every CLE gets a 12.3-inch reconfigurable gauge cluster and an 11.9-inch center touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The convertible’s center screen can tilt from 15 to 40 degrees, and the system also supports optional augmented reality navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The AMG convertible is rated at 22 mpg combined, while the hardtop with the smaller 2.0-liter engine returns 27 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE is offered in 3 trim levels: 300, 450, AMG CLE 53.

Here's the short version:

• 300: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the CLE experience with the lower starting price and the 255-horsepower turbo-four. It still gets the same core tech, styling, and mild-hybrid setup, so you are not giving up the car’s main appeal.
• 450: This trim is the sweet spot if you want more power from the 375-horsepower inline-six without jumping all the way to AMG pricing. It should suit you best if you want a stronger grand-touring feel and are willing to pay for it.
• AMG CLE 53: This is the performance-focused choice, with 433 hp, sharper handling, and the most aggressive styling and chassis tuning in the lineup. Buy this one if you want the most exciting CLE and are comfortable paying for the extra capability.

The Driver Assistance Package is optional, so check whether a used example includes it before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing movement to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 674 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $62,804, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE's resale value?

The current average of $63,525 sits slightly below last year's $65,266.

That price movement suggests the CLE has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you buy more confidently today. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means you should expect some depreciation pressure rather than a quick rebound. The good news is that the model’s premium positioning and strong desirability should still support value better than a more ordinary two-door.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE safe?

The only driver-assist features you’ll get standard are a basic blind-spot monitoring system, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The optional Driver Assistance Package adds lane-keep assist, speed-limit monitoring, evasive steering assist, emergency stop assist, automatic lane changes, and active steering with stop-and-go adaptive cruise control. That package is important because several useful safety features are not standard, so you should verify whether a used car has it. The available system is described as smooth and confidence-inspiring, though it is not as robust as hands-off systems found elsewhere.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.67% compared with last year.
• It adds strong acceleration, luxury features, and a special-feeling design.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $56,064, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $63,525 average.
• It is a fresh addition with strong results and broad appeal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It refines the CLE into a more rationalized premium two-door with strong all-around performance.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of style, tech, and current-market availability, the 2025 is the primary pick. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value path, while the 2026 makes sense if you want the newer take on the same formula.
