Used 2025 Lincoln Navigator for Sale nearSanta Fe, NM

Is the 2025 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator earns a 7.7/10 expert rating, and it is aimed at you if you want a truck-based, full-size luxury SUV that leans hard into premium presentation and modern features. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

The data points to a strong mix of capability and luxury: Lincoln keeps the capable architecture and drivetrain in place while adding fresh styling, a new interior, and updated technology. The highlights include the Lincoln Digital Experience with a 48-inch panoramic display, the latest BlueCruise hands-free driving system, and immersive wellness programs that help give the SUV its “spa on wheels” personality.

The trade-offs are just as clear. The ride quality is poor, the back seats are cramped, and there are too few physical controls. Even so, the Navigator still makes sense if you want serious towing and hauling ability wrapped in a highly advanced cabin.

Market availability is moderate, with 31.1% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator is presented as a capable, well-equipped full-size luxury SUV that keeps its fundamentals intact while adding newer technology and a more refined cabin. That combination suggests a vehicle built around familiar hardware rather than a radical mechanical overhaul, which is generally a reassuring starting point for long-term ownership.

The performance content also points to a proven setup: a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and standard 4WD. Lincoln’s complimentary four-year subscription to BlueCruise adds ownership value, and the broader tech package is designed to make daily use easier rather than more complicated.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is a complex, expensive luxury SUV, so repairs and upkeep can be costly if you buy a poorly maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV with a lot of technology and a high purchase price. Pay close attention to cabin condition, control functionality, and whether the vehicle’s features work as intended, since the Navigator leans heavily on screen-based systems.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base version is the Navigator Reserve, while the Black Label is the top trim level. The Black Label brings a more decadent interior, and the Jet Appearance or Black Label Special Edition packages add a blacked-out look. The longer Navigator L adds more cargo room behind all three rows.
• Powertrain: The 2025 Navigator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is standard, and the SUV can tow up to 8,700 pounds with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package and 22-inch wheels.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, lane-centering assistance, and post-collision braking. It also includes intersection assist, evasive steering assist, Turn Signal View, and BlueCruise with a complimentary four-year subscription. There are no crash-test results yet.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses the Lincoln Digital Experience with a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch center touchscreen. It includes Google Built-in, Alexa Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system, and over-the-air-style connected features through Lincoln Connect 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot access.
• Fuel efficiency: The performance content cites an observed 20.3 mpg on a highway-heavy route and an official EPA rating of 17 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 2 trim levels: Navigator Reserve and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Navigator Reserve: This is the starting point, and it gives you the core Navigator experience with the standard luxury, technology, and capability that define the model. If you want the Navigator’s main strengths without stretching to the top trim, this is the one to focus on.
• Black Label: This is the best-equipped and most indulgent version, with the most upscale interior presentation and the richest-feeling materials and features. If you want the most luxurious Navigator and are willing to pay for it, this is the trim to target.

The Black Label is the top trim level, and the Reserve Jet Appearance Package or Black Label Special Edition Package adds a blacked-out look.

Should I buy a 2025 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The 2025 Navigator adds fresh styling, a new interior, updated technology, the Lincoln Digital Experience with a 48-inch panoramic display, and the latest BlueCruise hands-free driving system.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Navigator with the most modern cabin and tech, the 2025 is the right target. If price matters more than having the latest updates, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still delivering the Navigator’s core capability and luxury.
