Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus ES Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

The current average of $47,258 sits slightly above last year's $46,201.

That suggests the market has held up well, which can support resale confidence if you buy at the right price. A modest year-over-year increase also signals that demand has remained steady rather than weakening sharply. If you plan to sell later, buying near the lower end of the range can help protect your future return.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus ES Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.29% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this range and value strong owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your main goal is to minimize upfront cost, a nearby older year may be worth comparing, especially if you can find a cleaner example at a lower price.
