How much does the 2025 Kia Seltos cost?

Is the 2025 Kia Seltos a good car?

The 2025 Kia Seltos stands out as a subcompact crossover that feels more substantial than its size suggests. It offers a premium-leaning cabin for the price, a practical layout, refined driving manners, and generous passenger and cargo space for its class, which makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels more polished and useful than many rivals.

It also benefits from the broader updates introduced for the refreshed model, including sharper styling, Kia’s panoramic display, Kia Connect, and a USB-C port. Available features such as the larger touchscreen, Syntex upholstery, heated front seats, a power sunroof, and advanced driver-assistance equipment add to its appeal.

With 37.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2025 Kia Seltos reliable?

The 2025 Kia Seltos benefits from the refreshed model’s updates and keeps the qualities that make it appealing: a practical interior, refined driving manners, and a well-thought-out cabin. It also avoids the earlier-model concerns tied to the naturally aspirated engine and IVT transmission, which makes the later updated versions the safer used-buying choice.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is choosing a poorly maintained example or one with a history that suggests harder use, so condition and service records matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Seltos?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s background matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment that should be fully functional. Focus on overall condition, cabin wear, and how well the electronics and convenience features operate.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Seltos?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,371 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,618, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $23,967 sits slightly below last year's $24,647.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less risk of overpaying today, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on how well you preserve the vehicle. A clean history, strong condition, and desirable equipment should help your Seltos hold its appeal better when it’s time to sell. If you buy near the low end of the range and keep it well maintained, you’ll be in a better position to limit depreciation pressure.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.76% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,990, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $23,967 average.
• It offers updated tech and a roomy cabin with easy-to-use features.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the freshest version with strong market availability and a broad pool of clean examples. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you find one in excellent condition with the equipment you want.
