Used 2025 Kia EV6 for Sale nearKlamath Falls, OR

Is the 2025 Kia EV6 a good car?

The 2025 Kia EV6 earns an expert rating of 7.83/10. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

That score lines up with the EV6’s appeal as a stylish, practical electric crossover with one of the most sophisticated EV platforms at its price point. For you, that means a vehicle that emphasizes design, a premium-feeling cabin, strong everyday range, and quick recharging rather than pure utility. The trade-offs are that the onboard technology can be quirky and cargo space is not especially generous.

Good and great deals percentage: 48.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there’s meaningful shopping room in the market.

Is the 2025 Kia EV6 reliable?

The 2025 Kia EV6 is presented as a well-built EV with a sophisticated platform, strong performance, and a revised structure for this model year that helps support its solid feel on the road. The expert evaluation also points to generous warranty coverage and a generally appealing ownership proposition for an electric SUV.

From a dependability standpoint, the performance notes emphasize that the EV6’s 800-volt charging system is impressive when you can access the right charger, and the cost-effectiveness notes highlight Kia’s roadside assistance and warranty plans. That said, used-EV ownership still depends heavily on how the battery and charging system have been treated, so you should pay close attention to charging habits and overall condition.

Long-term ownership risk for used buyers is mainly tied to EV-specific wear, charging behavior, and how well the vehicle has been maintained and stored.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia EV6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that has spent a lot of time on fast chargers. Focus on overall condition, charging-port operation, cabin electronics, and whether the car’s features behave as expected in daily use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes Light, Light Long Range, Wind, GT-Line, and GT trim levels. The Light is the entry point, while the higher trims add more range, more equipment, and more upscale presentation. The GT-Line test vehicle showed the EV6’s premium cabin materials, intuitive controls, ambient lighting, and available suede seat inserts, but it also highlighted that some technology can be quirky and that the cabin is more style-forward than cargo-focused.
• Powertrain: You can shop single-motor rear-wheel-drive or dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions. The Light uses a 63-kWh battery with 167 horsepower, 258 pound-feet of torque, and 237 miles of range. The larger-battery versions use an 84-kWh pack; the single-motor setup makes 225 hp and 258 lb-ft, while the dual-motor AWD setup makes 320 hp and 446 lb-ft. The AWD GT-Line test vehicle returned 270 miles of range and 35 kWh per 100 miles.
• Safety package: Kia equips the EV6 with plenty of driver aids, including Highway Driving Assist 2, which pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist and lane-change assist. The safety content also shows that some features can be overly aggressive, so you should test how the systems behave before you buy.
• Infotainment: The EV6 uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen paired with a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the updated software and graphics are a major improvement. Voice recognition can be frustrating if Kia Connect is not active.
• Range & charging: The EV6 Light offers 237 miles of range. The larger-battery versions range from 270 to 310 miles depending on setup and wheel size. The GT-Line AWD test vehicle was rated at 35 kWh per 100 miles, and Kia says the 800-volt system can charge from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes on a 350-kW charger.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, ask how often the car has been DC fast charged versus charged at home, and confirm how much of the battery warranty remains. For a used EV, you want smooth charging behavior, no warning lights, and consistent range expectations.

Which 2025 Kia EV6 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia EV6 is offered in 5 trim levels: Light, Light Long Range, Wind, GT-Line, and GT.

Here's the short version:

• Light: This is the least expensive way into the EV6, but it also brings the smallest battery and the shortest range. It makes sense if you want the EV6’s design and platform at the lowest entry price and can live with the more basic setup.
• Light Long Range: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the larger 84-kWh battery and a much more usable range without jumping all the way to the pricier appearance- and feature-heavy trims.
• Wind: Choose this if you want the larger battery and a more upscale feel than the Light trims, while still staying below the GT-Line’s more premium presentation.
• GT-Line: This is the sweet spot if you want the EV6’s most polished everyday experience. It combines the larger battery, strong available performance, premium cabin details, and the most complete sense of style.
• GT: Pick this only if you want the highest-output version and are willing to pay for it. It sits at the top of the lineup and is the most performance-focused choice.

The safety content notes that Kia adds plenty of driver aids, but some features can be overly aggressive, so it’s worth testing the systems on your own before deciding.

Is the 2025 Kia EV6 safe?

The 2025 Kia EV6 earns top scores in the IIHS tests completed so far, and NHTSA has not rated it as of this writing.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia equips the EV6 with plenty of driver aids, including Highway Driving Assist 2, which combines adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, and lane-change assist for highway driving. The safety content also points to a few caveats: rear cross-traffic braking and blind-spot-related braking can be overly aggressive, and those systems may intervene more forcefully than you expect.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 48.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The 2025 model adds an exterior facelift, a revised interior, increased battery capacity, a new charging port, modified steering, frame enhancements to ensure safety, and next-generation infotainment technology.

The bottom line: If you want the most updated EV6 experience, the 2025 model is the one to target because it brings meaningful improvements in design, charging hardware, cabin tech, and structural updates. If you’re shopping mainly on price, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 is the better pick if you value the refreshed look and the latest equipment.
