Used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S for Sale nearDayton, OH

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S cost?

Prices have softened 27.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 207 listings available, which suggests a modest but workable amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S a good car?

It’s a mixed proposition: the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S has some appealing strengths, but the overall package is held back by notable flaws. It earns 1/5 from users and 5/10 from our experts.

The model scores 6/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Jeep’s first all-electric vehicle brings quick acceleration and an upscale stereo, and its conservative SUV styling may appeal if you want an EV that doesn’t look overly futuristic. But the ride is poor, the electric range is unimpressive, and the tech experience is undermined by glitches and slow responses.

Cons: Poor ride quality, unimpressive electric range, numerous technical glitches.

With 41.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market softness to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S raises reliability concerns because the testing notes point to multiple software and control issues rather than a polished EV experience. The expert review describes the vehicle as not quite ready for prime time, with glitches that affect everyday usability.

The performance notes also point to awkward low-speed behavior, overly sensitive acceleration, and inconsistent brake regeneration settings that require extra menu digging. On the tech side, some screens respond slowly, and one settings screen failed to respond during testing.

If you’re considering a used one, long-term ownership risk looks higher than average because the issues described are the kind that can make daily use frustrating even before age and mileage enter the picture.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a thorough test drive, especially because the review points to glitches and inconsistent behavior in both the driving and tech systems. Pay close attention to how the screens respond, how the driver-assistance features behave in traffic, and whether the ride feels acceptable on rough pavement.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Limited trim is the more affordable entry point, while the Launch Edition adds more output and quicker acceleration. The base setup already includes a digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, so you should focus on whether the extra performance and equipment in the higher trim are worth the jump.
• Powertrain: Both trims use two electric motors and all-wheel drive. The Limited makes 500 horsepower and 624 pound-feet of torque, while the Launch Edition makes 600 horsepower and 617 pound-feet of torque and reaches 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The review also notes abrupt throttle response and awkward one-pedal-driving behavior.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system. The optional Comfort package adds a head-up display.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a smaller climate touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite radio, a wifi hotspot, and voice controls. The optional Comfort package adds a 10.25-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Range & charging: The battery pack is 100 kWh, estimated range is 294 miles, and DC fast charging can reach 203 kW with a 10-to-80-percent charge in about 23 minutes.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the vehicle has typically been charged, and review the remaining battery warranty coverage before you buy.

Which 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is offered in 2 trim levels: Limited and Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Limited: This is the better-value choice if you want the Wagoneer S experience at the lower starting price. It still gives you dual-motor AWD, 500 horsepower, the standard tech suite, and the full set of driver-assistance features, so you’re not giving up the core EV hardware.
• Launch Edition: Choose this if you want the stronger performance tune and quicker acceleration. It makes 600 horsepower and is the trim for buyers who care most about straight-line speed rather than value.

The standard safety package includes the full driver-assistance suite listed above, so you don’t need to move up a trim just to get the core safety tech.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment, especially if you’re willing to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 207 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,506, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S's resale value?

The current average of $34,506 sits slightly below last year's $47,713.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may pressure future resale values. If you buy now, you’re entering at a much lower price point than early shoppers did, which reduces some depreciation risk from here.

For a future seller, the main takeaway is that this model’s value appears to be moving with the market rather than holding firm. If the vehicle continues to face mixed reviews and technical concerns, resale strength could remain limited unless demand improves.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S safe?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S has not yet been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system that combines cruise control and lane-keep assist.

The review also flags a few safety-related concerns in operation: adaptive cruise control can brake too early and too hard in slowing traffic, and there were repeated false alerts without clear instrument-panel explanations. If you’re shopping used, those are the kinds of issues you should verify on a test drive.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.68% compared with last year.
• Jeep’s first all-electric model brings quick acceleration, but the review says the package still has major rough edges.

Consider the 2024 if:

• The 2024 offers stronger range and a more ambitious first-year EV debut.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better path only if you want the lower market price and are comfortable accepting the model’s flaws. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2024 may still be worth a look for its stronger range story, but you should compare condition, equipment, and asking price carefully before deciding.
