How much does the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 13.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,568 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out because it blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, mainstream-friendly feel, and it offers a wide range of trims from basic entry models to much more luxurious versions. You also get multiple four-wheel-drive setups, including systems with a low range and an available height-adjustable air suspension, so it can serve both everyday comfort and real trail use. With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2025 Grand Cherokee is described as a relatively new vehicle with modern technology and a premium cabin available on higher trims, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership. Its straightforward powertrain lineup also keeps the setup simpler than some earlier versions of the same generation. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the most desirable equipment is concentrated in pricier trims, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and look for any prior damage or title issues. Put inspection priority on the drivetrain, suspension, and any four-wheel-drive hardware, since those are central to the Grand Cherokee’s appeal. Focus on overall condition and trim-specific equipment, because the best features are often concentrated in higher-spec versions.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever for a better moment.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,568 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.00% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,215, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $35,215 sits slightly below last year's $40,478.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point today. For a future seller, that also means resale performance will depend heavily on how well your vehicle is equipped and maintained. Higher-trim examples with desirable features should be easier to position later, while heavily used or poorly documented examples may face more price pressure.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• A refreshed turbo-four engine and updated cabin tech make it feel more modern.

The bottom line:
Buy the 2025 if you want the established formula, strong owner satisfaction, and a softer used-market price. If you’re more focused on the newest styling and updated tech, the 2026 is the better path; if you’re price-sensitive, the 2025 is the smarter value play.
