How much does the 2025 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 10.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,738 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Tucson earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong shopper satisfaction. The overview describes it as a compact SUV that blends value, space, and a strong feature set, with a larger footprint that brings more rear-passenger legroom and more cargo room behind the second row. It also emphasizes a polished cabin, an attractive high-tech design, and a generous warranty, while noting that the Tucson is especially appealing if you want a comfortable daily driver with lots of equipment for the money. With 39.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of value-oriented options to consider.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a generous warranty and a practical, comfort-focused design, both of which support confidence in everyday ownership. It also highlights a smooth ride and a feature-rich cabin, which are the kinds of traits many used buyers want from a long-term compact SUV.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a poorly maintained example, so condition and service history matter more than the badge alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Start with the history report so you can confirm accident status, title status, and ownership patterns before you go any further. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a vehicle that may have been used as a daily commuter or family hauler. Focus your walkaround and test drive on overall condition, since a well-kept Tucson should feel polished, quiet, and comfortable rather than worn or neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Tucson?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,738 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,347, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $24,348 sits slightly below last year's $27,344.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, the softer pricing means you should pay close attention to purchase price, condition, and mileage so you do not overpay on the way in. A well-kept Tucson with the right equipment and clean history should still attract interest, but the broader market trend favors buyers more than sellers right now.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,489, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $24,348 average.
• It offers a well-rounded, practical package with strong space and useful tech.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context, stronger current inventory, and the latest cabin update, the 2025 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the smarter secondary path because it delivers much of the same practical appeal at a lower average price.
