How much does the 2025 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 10.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,640 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Tucson earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong shopper satisfaction. The overview describes it as a compact SUV that blends value, space, and a strong feature set, with a larger footprint that improves rear-passenger legroom and cargo room. It also emphasizes a polished cabin, a high-tech design, and a generous warranty, while noting that the Tucson is tuned more for comfort than excitement. With 39.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview supports that impression by highlighting a generous warranty, a comfortable ride, and a practical, well-equipped design that should appeal to everyday buyers. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about making sure you choose a well-kept example that matches the condition you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a history report to confirm accident status, title history, and maintenance patterns before you commit. Put the inspection focus on overall condition, especially the cabin, electronics, and any signs of wear that could affect a feature-rich SUV. Because the Tucson emphasizes comfort and technology, you’ll want to make sure everything works as intended and that the vehicle has been cared for consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Tucson?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,640 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,249, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $24,249 sits slightly below last year's $27,241.

That price movement suggests the Tucson has become more affordable in the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment level. If you keep the vehicle clean, well maintained, and well documented, you’ll be in a better position to stand out when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,471, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $24,249 average.
• It offers a well-rounded mix of space, style, and value.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2025 if you want the newer cabin update and a broader pool of listings to compare. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value play, especially if you find one in strong condition with the equipment you want.
