Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearRoanoke, VA

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 7.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,549 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Honda’s unibody approach, standard all-wheel drive, and clever storage solutions make it easier to live with than many midsize pickups. It also delivers a comfortable ride and great handling, which fits buyers who want truck utility without the usual rough edges.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer the towing capacity or off-road capability of more traditional trucks, and its technology is described as outdated. Even so, the Ridgeline’s everyday usability is its biggest advantage.

With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s reliability case is helped by Honda’s emphasis on refinement, solid construction, and a straightforward powertrain setup. Its V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as smooth and responsive, and the unibody design helps the truck feel more solid than traditional body-on-frame rivals.

Honda also includes a three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, which gives you a familiar ownership safety net. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its age shows up in technology and capability rather than in basic livability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing trucks that may have seen work duty or family hauling. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and signs of heavy use, since the Ridgeline’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Ridgeline remains unique among pickups because it uses unibody construction instead of the body-on-frame setup used by most rivals. The cabin is described as durable and functional, with standard tri-zone automatic climate control, and the base trim misses some equipment found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: A 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque is paired with a nine-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. The setup is smooth and responsive, and the truck’s ride quality and handling benefit from its unibody construction and fully independent suspension.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: You get a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. The interface is functional, but the screen is smaller than some rivals’ and the graphics feel dated.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models return 21 mpg combined (18 mpg city, 24 mpg highway), while TrailSport models are slightly less efficient.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Ridgeline’s core strengths: standard AWD, the V6, and the truck’s easygoing ride and practical layout. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and can live without extra luxury or appearance upgrades.
• RTL: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more comfort and convenience while staying below the off-road-focused TrailSport and the pricier Black Edition. If you want the Ridgeline’s everyday usability with a more polished feel, this is the trim to target.
• TrailSport: This trim adds all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, making it the choice if you want the most rugged-looking Ridgeline. It still isn’t a hardcore off-roader, but it is the most off-road-oriented version in the lineup.
• Black Edition: This is the top trim, and it brings the most upscale presentation, including an eight-speaker audio system and rear USB-C ports. It suits you if you want the most fully equipped Ridgeline.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,549 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,379, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $36,379 sits slightly below last year's $39,325.

That price movement suggests the Ridgeline has softened enough to create a better entry point for buyers today. For a future seller, that can mean less immediate downside if you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition.

Its broad appeal comes from comfort, practicality, and standard AWD, which should help it stay attractive to shoppers who want a truck that feels easy to live with. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests from NHTSA, and four-star ratings in rollover testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The system is generally unobtrusive, though the adaptive cruise control can be slow to accelerate when traffic clears.

IIHS testing also shows a mixed result: the Ridgeline earns a “Good” score in the updated side crash test and the original moderate front overlap test, an “Acceptable” score in the small overlap front test, and a “Marginal” rating for headlights.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you’re getting the latest version of that refreshed formula.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,635, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $36,379 average.
• It adds a TrailSport trim and tech updates that make the truck more appealing.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the Ridgeline’s current formula and are comfortable paying a bit more, the 2025 is the cleaner choice. If price matters more, the 2024 is the smarter value pick because it brings the same basic strengths at a lower average price.
